Something about the electronic beat mixed with the.. chimes? Plus the other traditional instruments, really reminds me of classic Spyro the Dragon.

Final round sounds cool. Thanks for including it all in the same video, since it's like one big song.

Ayo I'm a sucker for electronic music, and having D&B representation in the game is so awesome. Thank you for providing us with awesome music all these years.
Do you consider setting up a Bandcamp album by any chance? I'd love to support your work.

I wonder if the Hindu-themed instrumentals in the beginning are intentional, given _nidra_ is the Sanskrit word for sleep. Is she inspired by Indian/Hindu culture?

Anjali Kunapaneni is the name of her voice actor, which sounds like a very Indian name to me.
But tapirs that eat dreams? That sounds like the baku, a creature from *Japanese* folklore, not Indian... 🤔

@@mdalsted I'm pretty sure her voice actress is South Asian. Not sure about Nidra herself, though. Like you said, baku is from Japanese folklore, but Nidra's stage has a more Arabian feel into it.

Just to clarify, I said "Indian", not "Native American"

      Isn't India in southern Asia...?

      It's obvious, no?
India is a South Asian country. Anjali, Nidra's voice actor, is of Indian descent but was born in America.
Also, just because Nidra is based on a Japanese creature (which by the way, actually has Chinese origins), it doesn't negate the fact that she is blatantly meant to be Indian. Her name comes from an Indian language, the architecture of her stage is Indian, and her super moves use imagery of a lotus flower, which is a significant symbol in Indian religions.
