I haven’t seen an update video as good and as useful as this for a long time. The properties resize is such an underrated QOL update. Browser not so much…but DEFINITELY the properties tab. The rebar annotation looks so much quicker. Lawrence, can you detail with 2D bars on plan and schedule them? Just wondering if all these features are only for 3D bars?
Thanks for the update! Recently found your channel and loving the content, especially as a structural technician. I am new to Revit so forgive me, but I've noticed you have annotation families that I do not when calling of your multi-rebar in plan (2 arrows, dot calling off bar, standard BS annotation). Have you made this annotation family yourself? Is it available for download? Do you have any content that teaches the mechanics on creating this family myself? Thanks in advance for any response.

I’ve made enquiries about the RC course and will see if I can sell it to my company directors. We currently use CADs RC. But if we can save ourselves the additional plug in and do it all in Revit that would make sense to me. Have you used CADs RC and do you think Revit can compete?
@@chrismunt8443 I have not used the new CADS RC3D tool but used the original CADS RC for AutoCAD back in the day! If you book onto our Revit RC course you get our Symetri template which contains all the relevant details, families and schedule setup. What's you companies name, I will be able to find you on our system...
@@RevitStructureBlog company is called booth king partnership limited. I received an email from Madeline with course costs, etc. Currently i am on a fishing exercise to see how reliable and cost effective it would be for us to move to Revit as our main RC detailing CAD tool

I agree that this is a significant update, really good for detailing. The MRAs are only for 3D bars

glad you are enjoying the content. The MRA is a custom dimension and tag style. I do plan to create a video showing how to set up an RC template
