I liked it! The only criticism I have, is that it didn't feel like the music was going anywhere.. like the Artificial Music Intelligence is still studying our brains and hasn't yet worked out how to control them.
Haha, I can see this project has divided opinion. Personally I love it, and I wanted to say thank you for a brilliant gig in Bristol last night, a beautiful mix of drones, melodies, and earth shattering kickdrums. Thank you so much.
Hi 65s, thanks for sharing. The 1:41 - 2:41 part came out quite mesmerizing! Hope to see you back in Italy with these new performances. I understand that for some people it's hard to like but personally I enjoy trying to catch the pattern, find the stream. Wai-...am I looking for a pattern or am I defining one on my own?
My heart and my gut are telling me to be dissapointed that you would basically give up creative freedom to a computer, but based of this song, my mind tells me to be very excited and hopeful, to see what you guys can do with computers to the music making world, and how/if you can make this computer generated music in your own style.
i am a billionaire i wish to buy you drum machines ....not really.....thanks for Manchester cathedral a year or so ago...most enjoyable..my ears are still ringing..as are the windows in that amazing building
Lucky to catch your live show at AMFest, was absolutely blown away by everything, especially the visuals! Really piqued my interest in wanting to know how you cued the visual with the audio a lot of the times. That show felt so short; will you be releasing any live show recordings on RUclips in the near future? Need to watch it again!!
I'm not going to write what I want to about this because I'll get lambasted for it and I seem to be in the minority too, somehow. I will say that 65 are one of my favourite bands but I'm more than a little disappointed that this is the direction you've chosen to go.
they've done six albums. this isn't entirely my cup of tea either, but these guys are all huge technology nerds and this just seems to be a side project to satisfy that
I totally agree and godspeed them. Their music has been so important for me in so many ways for so long and it hurts to say negative shit that they could possibly read. I'm probably just being a little bitch because All the elements are there for a fucking beautiful tune but this whole approach just doesn't work for me personally. I hope everyone else loves it and so far that seems to be the case so I'll pipe down and give them a chance to showcase it properly. Hopefully I'll end up liking it in the end too.
Well, I wouldn't worry too much, it's 65... if you don't the direction they've gone, at least you can be pretty certain they'll go in a different direction on the next album.
Why do things the easy way when you can do them the hard way? And who is to say that the sounds they want to create can even be created using ordinary means?
People use proccess to create music. This is a process. With a computer playing it instead of the writers. It's the same fucking way everyone makes music bud.
Go on guys. Be the pioneers.

you think they give up creative freedom? Computers aren't magic. They only do what they are told to do.
gone from being dull to being worth listening to - an unusual path
cannot wait! :D

Yea, they changed a lot

How does this even work? Why can't you just make music the same way as everyone else? What does it all mean? I have so many questions.
Why do things the easy way when you can do them the hard way?
And who is to say that the sounds they want to create can even be created using ordinary means?
Why be like everyone else? Think of it as Electronic free-form jazz and then your good to go! :D

Just record a proper album pls
