We have done about twenty cruises in the last ten or 15 years. The main reason is that a woman never retires. There is always cooking, ironing , cleaning etc etc etc and it never stops. A cruise is a great break from the hard work of running a house. You just unpack once and enjoy everything being done for you, coupled with great food, great service, great entertainment and usually great value for money.

I like going everywhere onboard the ship and look at different things all the day I also book an inside cabin as I only sleep in there and shower as well. I meet lots of people and chat to them and have a great time a good laugh as well love the food onboard and the crew as well I get talking to them and get to hear their stories. I did one cruise before the shutdown happened and seen some changes have happened which don’t worry me a lot I just enjoy every moment. I have gone on a 3 day one and two solo cruises and love it either way and I will look at coming up to Brisbane and cruise out of there one day on Encounter would love to cruise on her as I have on her sister Adventure and loved it the other ship I cruised on and love is Pacific Explorer and she was my first cruise ship ever and done 2 on her and 2 on Adventure so far, trying out Royal Caribbean in November 23 Princess in February 24

I love cruising and it is great value for your money. I get so excited when I come back to our room, and I have a towel animal on my bed. It makes my day. We are off on the Airley beach cruise next week and so looking forward to it. Also, I love that you can do as much or as little as you want to. I also love that I don't have to cook or clean. 😂😂

Hello!!!! I have got back today from my first ever cruise on the Encounter to Airlee beach. Firstly I am so grateful that you have your videos, as I would have been totally lost without your information. Loved seeing the humpback whales migrating! I'm still contemplating if I liked the cruise. Some amazing moments. However the smell of sewage, or blocked drains that would waft through the ship, or in our room made us feel like gagging. We had to keep the balcony door open 24/7. The Pantry food was luke warm. Buckets collecting dripping water from the ceilings etc. Amazing entertainment from the singers, and so many lounge areas to relax in. I just don't know how I would rate it. Princess Cruise maybe next time? 🤔

All the P&O ships are hand me downs from other cruise lines. So definitely try Princess, Royal Carribean or other lines - especially any newer ships. I really like Celebrity and NCL - both quite different.
Tip: You can Google the ship and see its history.

Thank you both for your honest and candid reviews. I went on the Pacific Encounter recently and without having viewed your video I would have been completely and utterly lost. Thank you for giving up your quality time to help others enjoy their holidays. ❤

I found they dont have as many activities on p&o i had a look at and old program and they used to do free craft every day, and they usually had 2 different things to do at a time not just trivia.

Hi Rob and Ali. Thank you for all your tricks and tips on cruising. I’m actually going on a cruise early November 2023 on the Majestic. Just wondering if you have been on this ship as I haven’t seen any videos from you both on it. Happy cruising

I saw your plan for your cruises until the end of the year on your website. Cant believe you gave full time jobs! I guess you have to pay for them somehow. We don’t have many good cruises going out of Melbourne unfortunately so it requires a flight and hotel mostly. I think there’s Kangaroo Island, Hobart, NZ and Cunard to NZ? Really love you videos😊
