New subscriber, loved the video man. I feel like people are expecting too much all the time, not just fragrances but everything in life these days. Like just phrasing “ah it’s fresh” doesn’t automatically render it useless. There needs to be a real reason for it to be “boring”.
Such a great point about the wearable factor. I recently had the same revelation on many of the decants I have which has solidified my decision not to get a bottle of them.
I get a little self-conscious about people thinking I'm trying too hard, so my tastes have shifted towards powdery scents. For me, powdery scents are highly wearable across the board. On the other hand, something versatile like the YSL Y line is not wearable for me because they're too loud.
Would you say Dior homme intense is pretty wearable or versatile? I’m in the same boat as you and wondering if I should buy it

Performances are not terrible but man this smell very nice , for me this IS the modern take on Amber pour homme . Man trust me, girls go nuts for this smell

I just swapped out D&G Light Blue Forever for Prada Ocean. My wife thought the Forever smelled too much like a cleaner. I was so disappointed, as I thought it smelled great. But she really seems to love this one. Which, I'm glad for, as I also love this one. It's like combining Prada L'homme L'Eau and Luna Rossa.

Wearable factor good term to use..if you wear a fragrance a lot get the bottle..if not decant it..IMO..don't go on the hype go off what works for yourself..I learned the hard way 8 months in the fragrance buying..facts CJCITY..
I've smelled this a few times on paper and it is the most pleasant of the Luna Rossa line to me. Carbon is cool to an extent but it's not my style and is doing a little too much. The original is too feminine to me, sport goes too hard with the lavender and black is just a passable scent to me. Oceans is wearable, good smelling, not an ambroxan bomb, has a sweet enough undertone and doesn't smell generic but doesn't smell incredibly unique. It's just good and easy to want to wear. It also doesn't smell like a typical played out blue scent. It's an attractive Spring day scent into the evening for me. I'm not willing to pay the full retail price on it but if I can get a full size bottle for $55 incl. tax I will.
I agree with this review 100%. No wow factor, but a very good scent thats very wearable. Above carbon IMO too

I smell in it some marzipan (almond paste) + pistachio nuts.
Enjoyed your review. Ocean is good, but it didn’t wow me. Carbon is still my favorite in the Luna Rossa line. I’d say Ocean comes in second. A lot of people like Black over all the others. To me, there’s something off putting about it. It’s kind of like old popcorn or something.
yeah, same here. Its cool but something does not sit right on my skin. I prefer Prada L'homme intense if i want to go that route

It’s a carbon copy of Ralph club I really hate this one .. maybe better in cooler weather but it’s to smoky powder smell wish it had some fresh citrus
