In Nigeria when Michael died it was sorrow everywhere. People genuinely loved this man and still do. Rest in peace again and again MJ #mjforever #mjisinnocentofcharges

I was on delivery for dominos. They were playing Thriller on the radio. I thought to myself...wow I only hear this around Halloween. Then on the next trip out it was Scream...something I had not heard on the radio in almost 15 years. Then another and another. Finally I was driving when the dj said it. Michael Jackson has died. We played his music for days on end. And a lot of tears. He truly had an impact on the world. It was a great loss to music and dance.

It's cool how Liza Minelli says "he was pushed around by that father, they all were" - she had the guts to criticize his dad Joe, not many celebrities have done this.

I remember when I heard this news. It was a normal day. I was at home. The house was very quiet. I went outside to check the mail when my neighbors were playing MJ music and here in VA they played his music but this day it was back to back. Then I realized people were blasting it as they drove by. I was like huh. My neighbors son, who was about 10 says you know Michael Jackson died. I looked at him and said stop lying and I went in the house and told my then boyfriend (now my husband). He and my two sons we're like uh uh no he's not. I said come on turn on the TV and there it was all over the news and I tried to tell myself it wasn't true. We had a room with a drum set in it so I played and played the drums to his songs and I started crying. I must say that was when music along with kindness in the world, died. Michael was for humanity and he believed in treating people with the upmost respect and giving back. I still miss him to this day. A part of me doesn't think he is dead after I watched the interview with Dave Dave. Wherever he is I hope he is at peace. I truly love MJ.

This almost brought me to tears...It's hard for the fans to accept MJ's death, but it's much much harder for his family and close friends.....

it's seems like the month of June 2009 was a sad month str8 across the board because not only this we lose Michael, we also lost David Carradine, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon and Billy Mays. Such a sad sad month.

@MaryBee2500 I can understand the 6 boys thing, but that is not what I am talking about. He really beat those boys! He grabbed Michael by the throat one night and nearly choked him. Michael couldn't sing at the next performance because his throat was a mess. I think Marlon had to sing his part. When I say abuse, that is what I mean. It goes beyond an iron fist or strict. It is hurtful. Never been abused, I see.

Everybody has differents of opinion and is entitle to their belief. If some ppl wants to believe Michael is not an angel sitting beside GOD in heaven, then they and you can have that. I'll believe otherwise.

"Surrealistic" is not a word Quincy. Stop making fun of Michael when you yourself cannot correctly pronounce words.

he wasn't making fun of him, he didn't even have the right words to describe the feeling he had of losing Michael so he put those two words together

@MaryBee2500 Obviously you know nothing about this at all. Take it from someone who knows a lot more than you. He beat them. And you haven't heard the horror stories.
