Growing up in Altamont in the 50's and 60's, there were lots of old memories that came rushing out yesterday while making this video at Thacher Park. Picnics in the park; Hiking on The Indian Ladder Trail and High Point which is further down the escarpment overlooking Altamont; Early morning swimming lessons in ice cold water; Lil & Bill's; The Thompson's Lake Hotel; Water skiing at Warner's Lake; & the Thompson's Lake Campground to name a few...
