Another thing is I'm a slow learner so will that kill my chances of going? I don't want to feel unwanted just because I'm a slow learning wizard. I was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 7 by muggles.
Are there ever any summer sessions? I would LOVE to participate in this, but I teach and am limited to summers and designated school vacations - which sadly don't align with the current schedule.
15:45 lol the passing of the scotch. I bet they spent 4 days absolutely wasted, aiming their wands whilst stumbling backwards. I bet everything they said sounds like they're casting a spell.
I hope that they will have this for a while longer because I have to wait until 2022 to get out of high school and save up for money. Note I graduate high school in the year 2020.
Wow. This is epic. I've been involved in two magicians academy LARPs, and they were both very good, but this tops it, with the ambience alone. This is the kind of LARP I want to organise -- with a totally different background of course ;)
+josi bidoli Hi Josh - players bring their own wands. Some bring fancy wands made by craftspeople, while others just use a stick from the forest. Both work fine. After all, we're just doing pretend magic. ;-)
+Almer I plan on going in a few years. I'm already old enough but for me it's going to cost over $2,000 because I live in the US. Passport, plane tickets, the ticket to the college and extra expenses. ;w; it's a lot to go.

tickets are all sold out before i can even click "purchase" talk about full house on such an early date... I wish they would come up with more than once a year event...
Well, it's not exactly once a year. In 2015 it's essentially three games already: 1) The sequel to the November game, in early April. 2) The rerun of the November game, in mid-April. 3) A Danish family version in October. Please keep in mind that the people organizing this are volunteers with jobs, families, studies, etc. Many of whom have to take time out of their schedules and travel to Poland to run this game for other people. Which is really hard work :) That said, they are already looking into the possibility of more games.
Liselle Angelique Evers Krog Awwal Yea..., I emailed claus way before the registration open. :) he kinda explain plenty of things to me. Byłem w zamku Czocha podczas tego zjazdu akurat polskiego, LARP pięknie zniszczył pan opiekun wrzeszczący z dołu do ludzi "NIE ROBIĆ ZDJĘĆ DZIECIOM!".
+TheEasternFighter Why WOULD they get sued? Do you mean if someone gets injured? I assume they have insurance, it would be no different than organizing any other event of that size. Probably safer than organizing live music festivals or motorbike racing or something like that...
Gentleman1147 NOOOO IT IS *_N-O-T_* Geek means they like comics, movies, books, video games, and general culture. Nerd means that they are smart and are interested in scientific stuff, math stuff, etc.
+Redstomp There should be an age limit though. I know a woman in her late 40s who went and participated in this not too long ago. I don't know about you, but I think that's embarrassing that someone that old is spending their time doing this. Because of her age, I have no problem exploiting her about this, and also because most people seem to tolerate this behavior from her, which I find more shocking.
+NewYorkS4U Err, because people beyond a certain age should just not be allowed to have fun or live out their dreams? Sheesh. There have been participants twice her age. And I sure as hell do not attend to stop once I reach 40. Take a hike.
I'm quite sure age is of no importance. The lore states that some people attain magical power at a very late age, so you could easily start your education at 25. (or 58 for that matter)
+Ava Mastra I'd say various legal and practical reasons. If everyone is an adult then they are more legally responsible for their own actions and there are just less potential issues. If there are kids then there is more of a duty of care, potential legal requirements for organizers, especially if they are attending without a parent or guardian. Even things like serving alcohol at dinners could become an issue, let alone if there were any accusations of pedophilia or the like... It just opens a can of worms they obviously prefer not to deal with.
