Okay so I just solo'ed this once. This is definitely not a mission I'd want to grind. All the back and forth with enabling the opening of doors gets old pretty quick.
Dude they dumbed this exotic mission down like crazy and lowered enemy hp, it’s way faster to solo now 😅 plus once you know what to do you can go through the mission in 10-15 minutes solo pretty easily

Where the space area is at. Got stuck there I went to the spinning thingy that when up and jumped on it cause why not. Surprisingly it worked just time it right.
This was a fun mission when it came out with Season of the Seraph. Had to solo it with my Titan many times to get the weapon and each of its perks. It was pretty challenging, but all the more fun regardless.
great guide, i was super confused and nervous to try this because i watched other guides and they didnt explain it well. but with your gameplay, i grasped everything much easier and its actually super easy. i ran with celestial nighthawk and sunshot and breezed through it

Great video! If any of y'all struggle on the boss fight, here ya go. Once the boss has his shield up - stand in those orbs that glow yellow and damage him until it says immune again. There’s 3 or 4 of these spread through the room. Then there are THREE turrets to destroy. One on the north side, one on the south side, and one underneath where the boss is standing.
Only three spheres and three mechanisms to destroy. The only problem I had with this, is riddles. The one in the room, where you need to step by step run correct path. I died like three times.
Great guide, except for the fact that my game is bugged and the last step won't trigger. I'm stuck in the boss arena, with the side room opened but no prompt to upload the virus. This is the second time this has happened and its infuriating beyond belief.
I've watched 3 different guides from other creators. This is the first I've actually been able to follow. Thank you so much!! No cutting or skipping walk through. My dumb brain needed that. Now to go watch the secret one

Just went through the whole mission and killed Praksis: The Defiled went into the room, killed a little bot on the right door, then I couldn’t activate the terminal to end the mission. Ran around for 10 minutes not knowing what to do and then got kicked from the game with “Error Code: Canary” with nothing. 😧 Great way to end my night.
I’m not sure what I did wrong exactly but I was teleported to but looked like some maintenance tunnel like area and I’m stuck here now. Lol Great walkthrough btw I ended up starting over but then sailed through it 1 times. Thank you!

first time i did it but it is the best Mission i played so far in destiny. challenging, the view in the orbit is amazing. it is so much fun to play it. good job bungie
This mission is so god damn long that i was simply going for 5 ikelos smg and using my bp for red boarder but after a bit i like this mission due to getting 300 kills each game with my ostero and listening to music. got my gun from 3k to 6,700 kills in 3 -4 hours and if you lfg with one person who knows it, its a lot faster ygs dont even need mics oh and just eager edge everywhere
Update, each run/completion in normal mode will give you the next Hunter's Trace upgrade to IV. The mission does get easier and easier as you get use to it. Thanks again for the easy to understand guide.
Appreciate your efforts and time, I ended up taking the teleport to jumping puzzle couldn’t leave until completed, took awhile and only got to pet a dog? But eventually got back on track, keep up the good work

So mad I skipped one step towards the end but it still let me get into the boss room and I cleared everything but wouldn't let me claim rewards nor go back to do the part I kissed so have to completely reset mission all over again.. long sigh
dude i finished the final boss and it didnt give me the "upload the virus" objective in the end. WTF? Like i may have skipped the room on the starting 5 mins but it's telling me to go all the way back which i can't. Dude....
Mate if you are a new player I seriously recommend exotic quests, they are some of the most fun things in the game. And don't worry the community makes endgame PVE sound a lot more complicated than it really is.
Nothing more frustrating than the part where you go waste 10 minutes to pet the dog and activate “good boy protocol” just to get teleported back and realize you went the wrong way. The biggest “f u” from bungie, Helped a lot thanks!

This mission is next level BS. I especially love it how to have to wait 15 seconds to respawn after dying to BS lasers, BS floor and BS falling through space because you have no idea where you are going. Eventually got stuck and had to quite to only find that I didn’t have a check point. What a waste of time. Great guide by the way. Wish I had watched it before I wasted an hour of my life trying to get through this mission.
I went to some weird passage way in the sewers or duct work, it was all dark blue, & I had double grapple so I could swing thru it all, but when I got to the end, it kept transmogging me right back to the same space again. I had to quit the mission, after getting all the way to the end basically. Right before you have to do all the rapid switching. I started playing Destiny at the very end of this season & I hated this mission & never got the catalyst because I only finished it once. Now it's a cakewalk and I somehow still have to do it again.
Well when I ran this during the season I use trinity goul with the catalyst and for the scout was the Polaris lance the main would be a high impact shotgun
Thanks for the video! Soloed this mission in normal mode twice so far, it is long but not hard. I am over leveled (Season 23) for normal mode. The first completion gives Revision zero with Hunter's Trace II. The second completion gave Hunter's Trace III. Both runs also gave red border Seraph weapons. I will solo it again to see if I can get Hunter's Trace IV, which is what I want. Does anyone know if the next run gives Hunter's Trace IV?

The terminal door at 34:44 didn’t open for me. So I can’t access it. The other one across did but this one just didn’t. I’ve been running back and forth for almost half an hour. My game bugged out and that door just won’t opened. It makes the noise that it’s opening but nothing . I’m so frustrated with this game -_-
I managed solo it when it was released. And I'm not that good. Died more often trying the space jumps than in the final fight. With that being said, it's so long I refused to complete it more than once.
Did anyone else know there's a secret robotic dog on this mission that you can interact with and pet? I found it on accident before I came to this video for help
So apparently you can take the teleporter to the boss room before activating all of the scanner panels…just a heads up to anyone doing this because it is a softlock
Someone please help! I unlocked revision when it first came out but never finished the catalysts or trances. Now I’m trying to get them and it never drops despite playing on regular and legend. Anyone know why?

Im a noob and doing it solo at 1752 power. Its easy but I couldnt find the 2nd terminal at all 29:47. Im just blind
At 29:57, I could not get all platforms to come out. Only the panel on the right activated. The left panel didn’t work

My friend and I got stuck on the last part we couldn’t upload the virus at all. And the doors closed behind us so all that time was wasted
I got stuck in a room with no obvious exit with towering walls of circuit boards, I need a solution, it was not in your guide HELP!

On god I'm so pissed rn, got to the last bit and got disconnected, no checkpoint so I started over and right as I got to it again server maintenance
