This was our first Mardi gras parade we ever attended. It was such a neat experience, and I am so thankful that we watched it from the balcony of our hotel. Then Saturday, we drove to Pensacola, had lunch with my friends and Brian's cousin.

What a fun spot y’all had for the parade, way better then being in the crowd! Trust me I live in Louisiana and have been to a few parades and it’s stressful. I would love a balcony view! And prayers for your Mom Angie! 🙏🏻 I hope they get this figured out and she recovers very soon! 🤗

What a fun Mardi Gras. I follow another RUclips family who lives in the Mobile Bay Area and they were also there with their kids. The kids brought home quite a plethora of moon pies, beads, stuffed animals and fake plastic cigars that were thrown out into the crowds. Lol! We hate Charbucks (it’s what we call Starbucks, because the coffee always has a burnt taste). Whenever I go out of town I always like to visit the local coffee shops in the area. Surprisingly most of them are a lot better tasting than Charbucks. Plus I like to support small businesses over big chains anyways.
