The magical Cofete driving road (Fuerteventura) 4k

Movie Morro Jable-Cofete connecting road.Very dangerous because it goes between the rocks and there is no guardrail.
The road is 20km long and can be done in about 1 hour.

Wonderful road to Playa do Cofete, the view leaves you breathless.
HOWEVER be CAREFUL, cause nobody tells you how actually dangerous is. Gravel road for an hour, on narrow turns in the high ground. Holes on the road, really dangerous especially on the way back, cause when the hole is on your right it goes straight into the steep cliff.
Also don't make the same mistake as us. Don't go there for the sunset, cause coming back, pitch black, it is not comfortable

hi, thanks for this very interesting video. I wanted to ask you if getting to the mirador is feasible for those who suffer from vertigo? It seems to me that the steepest road is after the mirador or am I wrong? 😅

don't go with a rent car, because the insurance does not work if you have any problem.
We went there last May, we had a puncture.When we opened the back of the car there was no spare wheel and no repair kit .We called the company.A mechanic arrived 50 mn later and said he could not repair.He had to call the tow truck and we had to pay 200 euros.
When thevnext day we went to the company office at the airport we had an argument with the staff there.
They said it is the same with all the rent car compagnies.We are not insured at all when we leave the main road.
But we argued that if there had been a spare wheel my husband could have changed the punctured one and we would not have to pay 200 euros!!

I went there in december..i Saw a flat tire hanged on the rocks..near the rough descent..ir was yours??..i was very carefull because if that reason too

@@brunomesquita9368 Hello, no, I don't think it was our tyre, ours did not burst !
It is strange: in many videos, this road to Cofete is recommended, it's true it is really beautiful...but nobody says it is at the tourists' risks if they have a rental car ,which of course is the case, most of the time!

i think all the cars that go down this road are rental cars, you just pay's your money and take a chance.
