If you don't know anything about the college, you can use the cutoff rank. But, the mistake candidates do is trying to fill choices based on what they think they will get. For example, my AIR is 60,000. I am interested in KMC Manipal. But, the cutoff closed at 52,000 last year. I decided that I will not get it. So, I don't put it in my choices. This is the problem I want to avoid.

Problem is the language barrier. UP don't share even a single piece of information in English.
