I've only been studying Astrology for 3 years but have noticed they pack a very serious punch and they're much more than "karma/past" and "destiny." Whenever the South Node travels through my Rising (Scorpio) terrible things happen to me physically or to my appearance or how disgusted I feel about things to do with my body. The Nodes incorporate a hyper focus. As the North Node is traveling through Taurus I am obsessing on the beauty and happiness of my home as well as divorce (my 7th Hs). Both my North AND South Nodes are causing a great deal of stress. My blood pressure is 200/90...again, South Node.

But once I see the beauty of dealing with that stuff, that makes it easier.

Hannah, I have just had my second cry. I sent out to the universe the desire to have an experience of unconditional love. I got that experience and I contrasted it with my upbringing to see what could have been and what wasn't....And then I cried. What happened was that it made sense on an emotional level why the world is in the state it is in because of the absence of unconditional love. I already knew this in my head but now it also makes sense to me feeling-wise. The cancerian nurturing is such a strong feeling of love and acceptence and caring. When I am in that feeling of home I just want to let everybody in and put them in a blanket and make them have the experience that they are safe and secure. When I was in this state of cancer anything else just made no sense. I had no desire to exclude or to hurt. I felt compassion for my mum even, as she made total sense to me. I felt the pain of her own abuse and it is just unbearable. Feel into an experience where you have been at home, like an experience of the 4th house archetype and then contrast that to being picked on because of your hair. Do you feel how trauma just doesn't make any sense when you are in the cancerian feeling of safety and security. Your inner critic tells you to get a hair-straightener to avoid another experience of pain (being picked on). But then you go into the cancerian feeling and it tells you that you are safe no matter what and you can wear your hair however you like as exclusion doesn't make any sense. Cancer is about nurturing and it is all encompassing no matter what. It is actually those that pick on you who don't have the cancerian feeling of saftey and security within them. If they did they would let you in no matter what as discrimination and pain makes no sense. When you experience pain you just want to cry because it is the opposite of nurture and care. I truly felt how pain is just horrible and makes no sense when I was in the cancerian feeling. The world truly needs a form of cancerian manifestation because of the state that it's in (due to the lack of cancer). When you are in the feeling of cancer pain just has no room anymore and it has no point to exist. Thats how I felt.
And...Being able to cry is so wonderful. I am more than willing to be a cry-baby for the rest of my life. I guess I am in the preparation-phase of my saturn-return through 4th starting in january. I want it to be about finding home within me. It is going to be about accessing all my repressed emotions and processing through them or so it seems. I would have never thought about accessing my emotions via crying given how much I am in my head and how emotionally repressed I am. (Inner child? No, I don't need that. I can do without. It's too much of a good thing). But now I realise how I really need and want to access my emotions instead of rationalizing them away with the mind and find that inner child to have the home I would have needed all along). Many many people don't know what they have been missing out on in regards to "home" and the 4th house archetype as with me as I slowly come to realise what was and what could have been and what I completely and utterly missed out on in regards to the 4th house qualities. I have been in the very contrast of the 4th house experience all my life and I am like: Oh my god! thats what the 4th house is actually about? I severly missed out on that and I didn't even realise all this time what I was missing and how much I would have needed that. now it all makes sense!

# In Astrology very difficult and very hard to predict this SHADOW PLANET.
# North Node...if this shadow planet conjuct with favourable planet for one's Ascendant, it will give good benifits...If it conjuct with unfavourable Planets of one's Ascendant it will give malefic effects.
# North Node: Expansion of good or bad, Multiples of good or bad... depends upon its position and Conjunction of Planets.
# Jupiter, Venus, Full Moon, Nearer to the Full Moon... these Planets Conjunction or Related Position will stimulate the Positive effects of Rahu and reduce the Malefics effects of Rahu.
# If Jupiter is in the 5 th, 7 th and 9 th House from the North Node... Here North Node will give good benifits...
# If Venus is in the 7 th House... Here North Node will give good benifits...
# If Full Moon is in the 6 th, 7 th and 8 th House from the North Node... Here North Node will give good benifits...
# If North Node Conjuct with Saturn, Mars without having aspects or Conjunction of Jupiter, Venus and Full Moon... Here North Node, Saturn and Mars will give malefic effects... the percentage of malefic effects will depends the difference of Degrees from North Node.
# If any Planet conjuct within 0 to 8 degrees with North Node that planet not able to give its Natural good benifits of its own. 8 to 13 degrees That planet sometimes give its Natural good benifits nd not able to give its Natural Benifits Sometimes. 13 to 21 degrees more or less free from North Node. Above 21 degrees that planet will be totally free... Here there is no connection with North Node with other planets.
# If Jupiter conjuct with North Node within 8 degrees... Here Jupiter Strength will affect and the relaxation of this position are Venus or Full Moon must be in the 7 th House... Here Jupiter will regain its Strength.
# Sometimes North Node gives much more good benifits than we expect... examples of these positions are as follows:
1. If North Node is in the house of Aries, Mars must be in CAPRICORN.
2. If North Node is in the house of Taurus, Venus must be in PISCES.
3. If North Node is in the house of Gemini, Mercury must be in VIRGO.
4. If North Node is in the house of Cancer, Moon must be in TAURUS.
5. If North Node is in the house of Leo, Sun must be in ARIES... Here Additionally aspects of Jupiter to the Leo North Node is very important for good benifits of North Node.
6. If North Node is in the house of Virgo, Mercury must not conjuct with North Node... Here Mercury must be in Leo and Sun must be in Virgo conjuct with North Node ( Exchanges of theirs Houses between Mercury and Sun). In this position of North Node will give much more Benifits.
# Like this there are much more points are there for Predictions of North Node. For Predictions of North Node in Horoscope Chart need well experience and good knowledge.

yes, I have quite a few opposite energies: Pluto in scorpio in 2nd, Saturn in 4th in Capricorn, the north-node-south-node thing and mercury in gemini in 9th house. Also I have saturn, uranus and neptune opposite my sun and pluto opposite moon

Amar Mrkulic Yes, I am^^ How do you experience your placements? Roberto Lee saturn in 4th house is by far the most challenging aspect in my chart. I am in the process of realising how much i have numbed out to be able to survive and I am dissolving the barriers to get in touch with my emotions.

In the book 'initiation' by Elisabeth Haich there is a very interesting piece of information said to be from the old Egypt about reincarnation and why you are born under certain stars.
