I had a lovely trip up here today and it was beautiful 😍 The little chapel is lovely and the views were breathtaking. The coral lagoon was better than I expected. Wow! Awesome sunset from there too 😍

I really enjoyed sharing that walk with you Steve. Thank you so much, it has been a long time since I went to the lagoon but by boat and looking up. We never did much walking along that part, always told by Maltese friends it was too dangerous, as you said, because of erosion and we usually had kids with us. I was wondering if you could still walk around the coast line, down on the rocks from the Cafe at Paradise Bay, to the left and around the corner then up and walk back along the top. We used to do that almost every trip out that way, years ago when the pathways were only used by fishermen (and perhaps hunters) before the cafe was enlarged and all was natural. A loooong time ago.
Not sure about that walk you mentioned , i'll check it out , i used to go in the cave some years back in the summer part walk part swim . but not winter time , was my first time walking in that area ..Thanks Sheila

Hi Steve Fantastic Video. Word Of Warning to anyone considering jumping in , We Visited The Coral Lagoon On 6/10/2018, 3 people jumped in & then could not swim out (the sea was not rough at first but picked up after they jumped in) they had to be airlifted out by AFM at a cost of 500 Euros per person but it could have been worse other people have expired, luckily their friend was there to raise the alarm... Having said that beautiful place to have a look around.
Yes there are many places like this all around malta, thats why i stressed to everyone to take care !!

I just thought of a place you might like to visit and take us along. It's in Zurrieq. A 569 yr old chapel known as Hal-Millieri. The old Magrebi Arabic words for village are hal or ca. Hal-Millieri. Or Ca-Millieri ....making the common name on Malta, a place name. And that would be..you guessed it CAMILLERI. The CAMILLERI in Australia and Canada and US will be interested in knowing more about their family name.
