I saw some of this stuff at Home Depot and thought I would give it a try. I'm just a flunky carpenter and was never able to master paper tape. Hopefully this will make my life a little easier. Thank you for posting this video, its helpful. Ignore all the negative Nellies out there I don't see them posting videos to show us the "right" way.
Not bad, but why do you have the side wall finished when the end wall isn't even taped? You didn't make sure that the Strait Flex is in a straight line before wiping it down, trusses are very seldom straight enough to just wipe down.
The only thing this guy is good at is at loosing money, I have a Mexican taper that run circulars around him , send this guy over and will teach him how to tape

Stan Lee you’re absolutely right. Good luck trying your new product.
I looked for no-coat. Only thing I could find was 50$ 60$ a roll. Nah I'm good I'll just stick with paper tape
Did you already mud the joints prior to install. I don't see any gaps between wall and ceiling drywall. Tx

Don't forget to cut it on a 45 degree angle so it meets up with the opposing tape
Very good explination. Thank you for posting this
Using mud right out of the bucket without thinning it a bit will result in rounded corners
Want to make it bullet proof ? Use the straitflex super bond glue in the mix.
Great job, James! I'm going to share this on facebook!!!
u can also get on Amazon
The comments scared him away from making any more videos 😂
THIS PRODUCT IS USED FOR LESS THEN NINETY ANGLES. AT THIS RATE HE WOULD TAKE A WEEK TO TAPE IN A REC ROOM
I like that
cut your tape at angle where you start and end, else can t add vertical tape
