This video is not helpful. The fix only may work if you're actually out of RAM and don't have a swap file allocated. In my case I usually have more than 6 GB of RAM available when tab crashes and I have a 10GB swap file, so this "fix" will not work for me. Also the video is very wrong. This person had their swap file System managed, which means that the system automatically increase it if needed. At that moment they had 6679 MB allocated, so setting a fixed size of 1024 MB actually DECREASED available memory making the problem even worse.

Hi, I changed the settings to 1024 as you've described and pressed ok, and restarted my computer but it hasn't changed anything, should I check the system-managed size and then check set? before I press ok again and restart my computer.
I don't normally totally run out and Aw snap, but what happens a lot seems to be when Chrome draws a lot of memory loading a page or loading at start, if I'm typing it will suddenly yank the cursor out of the box and I'll have to mouse click back in and retype what didn't show because the cursor jumped or I'll have several tabs with youtube vids and I'll go and be watching one of the videos when suddenly chrome will start trying to lag seize and suddenly a handful of other tabs with youtube videos will start all blaring and playing at once. Chrome also like memory leaks or whatever you want to call it, like if I view an hour plus youtube live chat or open a bunch of tabs then after the live or me closing the tabs Chrome never frees up the memory eventually lagging and popping, yeah that's another thing it does when it's low on memory, I'll be viewing a tab in a window and suddenly Chrome will take that window and move it to the bottom of the stack of numerous other windows and these jerks, just like youtube moving the comments and recommended videos, Chrome keeps switching which side to show the tab search on, but once Chrome bleeds too much memory that I can't free up, I'm forced like daily or every day in a half to shut down Chrome and restart it or close everything and re4start the pc to fluch all the wasted memory that Chrome has sucked up and sent down the toilet. Then when I restart even though I have just as much open and running as before, now magically everything runs smooth for most the day until it's sucked up memory that it never releases again and I have to shut down and restart to free it back up over and over and over and over again. Really annoying. I don't want any tab to waste memory loading anything unless I'm viewing the tab. So only one tab per window, all the rest need to basically just be a url and load when I open them to view, oitherwise stop wasting a ton of memory on stuff I'm not even looking at. I absolutely hate this comments on the right side youtube has now forced on us. These ppl give zero f's about their users or user experience, a bunch of too big fer yer britches tyrants.
O que aconteceu nesse vídeo é que tinha mais de 6GB alocados como memória virtual no sistema dela, e ela alterou para 1GB apenas, não vejo como isso pode resolver o problema de falta de memória, sendo que ela diminuiu a memória do sistema.

It didn't work for me, i'm using a windows 10 vm on vmware, I tried this tutorial and it didn't work for me, it still shows me that error.
