killer lesson, love the solo!!!! i met you in Amarillo while you were in death. you guys played and after the show i gave you a pick that i had scarred the plectrum on and you gave me one that had a weed symbol on it.....i still carry that pick to this day in my wallet. you guys were awesome!!! i miss death's music, but he did leave us with some killer tunes!!! his harmonys were the bomb.

This song is in standard tuning but a whole step down (in D). Just like most of the death tunes.

They are both accomplished jazz guys, so that makes sense. I have made the same comparison before as well. Liste to the solos on the first 2 Megadeth albums and then listen to Symbolic. There are a lot of unusual 'things' going on....as far a metal solos go. I like it.

How did you get your wrist technique so tight? I have trouble keeping my wrist anatomically correct while isolating the use of only my muscles. I developed wrist issues trying to play things too fast for me with incorrect technique like Kreator. I've tried a lot of videos on youtube w/ metronome playing, but nothing really tires me or tightens my technique so I never get a workout - asides from warmup.
