Did you learn it from hearing, or did you have a tabsheet? I've heard that the rocksmith one is very poor, but your sounds very accurate and clean. I would love to learm this song but I'm not yet advanced enough to learn just by listening

Sounds better than the original :) the overall speed between the big a theme and B theme sounds smoother fits better and you seem to emphasize some parts more which go under in the original. Thumb ub :)
It's not just a Drop-D tuning, although you could maybe make it work but it would be more difficult. The tuning is D-A-D-F-A-E so the G is dropped to an F and the B dropped to an A.
The only thing easier about Drop D are the octaves, because you don't need to stretch and most people are used to the shape of them. This tuning is quite difficult, at least to someone who just got into it like me
