Hi, thanks for this. What is the best method if we wanted to do this for individual sequences without effecting the entire program, for example say we wanted to make a 4 bar sequence from our main sequence and have that be a riser/transition section in song mode. Would we be able to have this xy automation apply only to that sequence? Or would we have to fully duplicate each program as a copy and then make those copys trigger the same events on a whole new sequence again? My issue with just re sampling the section over for the effect and sending to another sequence is I dont think it will allow for good mixing to line up in the daw once exported. I do a weird method where I like to do everything fully in the machine including sequence and song modes, track into the daw individually as outs then mix. I basically do it the way we had to with vintage machines into protools just with a bit faster workflow on the machine then the old days. Alternatively would it make sense to just put the whole thing into song mode and do xy after the fact while its playing? Could be possible if i remember seeing correctly but it seems like it may be open to error without easy ways to adjust after if you dont like something over and over.

Bruhh, I’ve got an MPC and my program is full. I applied the LPF MANUAL to the submix 1 and assign the programs there been when I record no playback. I’m switching from write to read but nothing is recording/playing back
DO the LOOPER!! Because I made my effects and wanted to copy the sequence with out the effect. I wanted to do another type of effect, but wasn't able to because it copied the effect onto the next sequence.

I cannot get it to record though. I made a sequence and want to add effects to the end of the sequence before it goes to the next sequence, I’ve changed it to program 2, write and it still won’t record and I got no effects sound, I’m stumped and can’t figure out what I need to change, I’m on an MPC X🤷🏽♂️
I was todays yrs old when I learned I could bypass the 4 inserts with the sub mix channel. Protect this man at all cost !
