This is so helpful, I just got mine used and am new to embroidery and no where in the manuals did it say to cut the threads on the top, I had no idea. Also, I couldn't figure out how to do the color changes without switching the machine back into sewing mode to move the pressure foot down. I feel like an idiot. I know this is an old video, but I really appreciate it❤
I just purchased a designer diamond deluxe . I’m new to the computer screen. I put a designed embroidery / applique ( embrilliance) on a usb in vp3. I can see it in my usb file but how do I open it to stitch it ? Cannot find a video to follow . Thank you
@@epetebball You would have to digitize your design in the proposer format. For Husky machines you can use HUS or VP3 formats. The digitizing software is rather expensive, I find it’s easier to hire someone to digitize the designs for me.
I have a very nice Designer SE with very low dtitch count. I cant seem to operate the embroidery unit on this machine. I had an older Janome but I cant get any where with this machine.
Great question! Rethread the machine, then back up about 10 stitches, there should be a plus or minus sign that you can use to retrace the pattern and then hit start.
I have a designer 1 and when I try to use the embroidery floppies I get an error message. I called my machine repair and was told its a co Omputer problem. Where do I call for help?
I have a designer SE and every time I turn it on the lights are blinking constantly and the screen is clear. I have to unplug it, leave it off for a few then plug it up again several times and then it comes on. Does this mean my machine is getting ready to die?

How do you add the designs to the machine is a huskvarna Viking designer SE compatible to add embroidery designs, and how?
Purchase the designs online, download to a USB. Then plug the USB into the machine and open the design to stitch.
@@jessicacramer are you able to do your own designs?
