Interesting review, I found largely very different findings to you - just goes to show that we all experience these things differently and to try them yourself; I like this string on serve, blocking, volleys... medium spin on groundies; very comfortable, very good tension maintenance. Strung at 46x44 in an Auxetic Speed MP; 4.0 player. I will very likely stick with this string.
I find it weird that Grapplesnake only sell from their website. U have to pay like 20 EUR for one set incl. shipping in Europe. The reviews seem to be really mixed, some really like their products others say they're not worth it at all... how would you compare M8 Tour and Tour Sniper to strings like Lynx Tour/Hyper G (soft)/RPM Blast...
I found this to be pretty good for power and spin, strung at 45lbs in a Vcore 100 (2023), closer to what Tennisnerd reviewed. I think it would still be good at 43 or 41 lbs. I swing medium-fast. Also found good control. After about 8 hrs you can feel the difference, it loses control but still has power and spin. I found a medium speed swing imparted more spin, but could also swing faster to flatten out shots with power and control. I do not like YPT Rev at all. M8 plays way better for me. I’m a 4.5 NTRP player.
I do realize M8 is a string that plays better and better with more sessions. The tension maintenance is just excellent and it maintains snapback pretty well
Great review Tan! What tension would you recommend in a Wilson Blade v9 100?

Hi. Does the string give you any arm pain playing at this tensio so far?
Thank you! Did you use the 1.25mm or 1.30mm gauge in this play test?
Sry, it's already in the intro I see now, 1.25mm. Do you think the thicker string(1.30mm) would play differently?

I’m loving my new Vcore 100 2023. Had a Ezone 98 2022 and it was hurting my arm. Right now I am using Lynx Edge but I am going to Restring Zero.
Yea it’s a good string. It’s just doesn’t work with my game and probably this racket. I don’t like PT Rev too.

It is strange that 8 sided would be less consistent than 5 sided
It could be better on other frames and with flatter groundstroke I think
Lynx Tour for the win.
Cheers!
