Personally I find that a lot more plausible than Dooku being elected after being revealed to having been aligned even briefly with Palpatine.
I always thought Dooku was a double agent.
Dooku was a man of class, a true gentleman and I think this story really honored that.

If Dooku survived the rise of the Empire and went into hiding, and saw how much worse the Empire was than the Republic... It'd be super interesting to see him try to undo his mistakes.

Between STG and Pente Patrol, we really see the despite its flaws, the prequel era of Star Wars has so much story potential.

The very act of believing that a Hail Mary villain for Episode 9 is what doomed it. If Episode 9 was ever going to work, it was going to work on the back of Kylo Ren as the main villain.

That was a fantastic story! Your strength, one of them, as a writer shines as you take a premise and develop it among routes that come across as natural progressions, nothing ever feels forced (again, no pun intended). From this premise where Windu makes a difference during the fight to discovering where the Sith were to their ending at the right time to set up a future evil where Anakin fulfills his role and you give us a romantic ending, one set up early in the story.
This was also quite the roller coaster ride as you provided suspense with the Jedi heading to the Sith, built my hope of getting there in time to save Yaddle, to it actually having and I cheered (yes I actually raised my arms into the air), only to go noooo, when she was killed anyway. Yet you fulfilled my other hopes with Obi Wan and Satine, then the double date I've always wanted to see in sooo many fan fictions at the end. You even added the freeing of Anakin's mother, always a plus with me.
Wonderful touch with Dooku, and it could have potentially been a messy route with balancing what he had done with the Sith to how he countered that with what he had did to the Sith. The following political career was well written, it again came across as natural progressions where one, okay perhaps just me, could feel his charisma in the senate chamber and how he cleaned house and put Padme in as his second, the hope for the future, which led to that amusing scene near the end with her and Anakin and the line of just business of course.
All in all, another wonderfully written and read story. Thank you for it!

What if Dooku beat and killed Yoda at the battle of Geonosis, and fled before he could kill Anakin and Obi Wan?
What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories.
Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself.

DUDE! This was another awesome Star Wars story with Mace Windu going with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, and seeing the truth right away. It was awesome that Dooku became Chancellor, and Plagueis returning on Exogul, with the better and awesome ending.

I really love the hero turns taken by Dooku and Maul. And a storybook ending for Anakin, Padme, Obi-Wan, and Satine is entirely appropriate, along with the revelation that Anakin fulfilled the prophecy.

It was a nice touch about having Plagiuse still be alive in your story. That was my favorite part. Also Mace would have definitely been able to defeat Maul alone, but Qui Gon helping him would definitely be a great help.
Day 70 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?

The big missed opportunity here was Anakin DID NOT take off to take out the droid control ship. Think about it, in this story Mace took out the droidekas. Anakin only took off to take out the droidekas. The autopilot then took him to the battle. So if those droidekas were gone, Anakin would have most likely stayed in the N-1 all the time without moving it. Maybe maybe, he would have followed Obi-Wan and Padme.
Love the end game boss in videos to help show feats of the now happy ending jedi, wish more what ifs had it.

This was a great story including a great many of the characters we didn't get to see enough of in the movies, this ended up being an epic story, broad in scope and excellent in detail and for once, Obi-Wan got his happier ending with Satine and qui-gon living after Naboo and still getting to train Anakin as the chosen one

What if: Not only does Qui-Gon rescue Anakin, but also Shmi, and upon their arrival on Couruscant, not only do they they fall in love, but, with Jinn's elevation to the council after he kills Maul, he pushes the council to embrace attachments. Yaddle isn't killed, but shacks up with Yoda, Mace finds love in a female Force Sensitive and they start punching out kids like movie tickets. Jinn, of course marries Shmi and Kenobi marries Satine. And of course, years later, Anakin marries Padme. These attachments can of course be used by Palpatine to attack the order, "but where and how? Harder to answer. Meditate on this," you should 😁

Whoa whoa hold up, your throwing a bunch of my favorite SW chars together here. I'm gonna comment on this video before even watching it so I can give unbiased thoughts, then I'll watch it.
I think that given his general skill level with saber combat (most notably Vapaad) and battle powers in the Force; Windu would SWEEP Maul in 20 seconds, Qui Gon and Obi don't need to intervene.
Also, the opening scene of episode 1 where they force run down the hallway and then I think they cut a hole in the floor to fall through or something shortly after the poison room? Maybe I'm mixing that escape scene up, but nonetheless, if Windu is with them, I think it's no longer an escape 😂 Windu by himself is powerful enough to tear apart that entire base/ship/whatever and then walk away slowly like a badass. God that purple saber is so cool ❤

The Star Wars galaxy please tell us for real this time when can we see what Anakin Skywalker went to both the wellspring of life & ahch to birthplace of the midichlorians & first Jedi Temple come on people the chosen one to go to those two places, right👍☝️
To be honest, there would be no reason for Anakin to survive. The Jedi would feel the explosion of power from Plagueus and the Chosen One and would be able to follow a wave of such raw power with ease. Also Qui-gon would be able to use the bonds of Master and apprentice as Anakin and Dooku were both to Qui-gon.
They would find their bodies and would be able to feel that the Darkness was destroyed, and that Anakin had brought balance to the Force!
Anakin's death would be horrible news to the people of Naboo, as Anakin had been a hero for his part in the Battle of Naboo.
His death would be horrible for the Jedi, but they would know that the galaxy was safe thanks to Anakin and Dooku.

I wonder, with another Jedi present, would Anakin have been left unattended in a star fighter? A little bit responsible child care could have doomed Naboo. While easily defeating Maul, the droid army would have advanced unchecked over the Gungan army and the Naboo resistance.
I would like to see your take on what if Palpatine loved Anakin as a son. Not making him a good man, just having a paternal soft spot for the Chosen One. Would that alone weaken his mastery of the dark side? Would he go out of his way to free Shmi for Anakins sake? Or avoid thr assasinaton attempts on Padme? It would be an interesting story to read. Also how that would change thier dynamic after ROTS? Many possibilities here...
one of the best what-ifs as it’s pretty good ending is not the ending and we get a resurrected Sith for the Chosen One to defeat...
