Hey Lesley, you enjoyed your Fish Thali but Jaya was struggling, looks like. Added salt, hari mirchi, nimbu😂 Rare to find a place that pays attention to veggie offerings. Your videos are so interesting. ❤
Diabetes can be controlled (almost reversed) with diet modification. A relative did it by cutting processed food, intermittent fasting, and other things. Dr.Pradeep Jamnadas throws light on how doctors dont want their patients to know that diabetes is reversible. Wish you both good health:)
When Jaya asked nimbu mil sakta hai I understood she's trying her best to find any kind of real taste in her thali😂...prawn curry n chonak looked mouthwatering...till now my favourite prawn curry (with parboiled rice)n kishmoor is from Vintage restaurant.
You came to bicholim and I dnt even know 😅. Tople is very good restaurant for fresh fish thali🐠😊. I never had thali but my parents love there fish thali 😊❤ . Now do come to Sanqelim also😊❤. And most welcome to sattari Goa 😊
Please visit Bandedkar Bar and Restaurant which is near to Agonda Beach. I visited this place on 30th November 2024 and ate Modso Thali which was really good, but their prawns curry was not that great. Always wanted to try teesrio, since Lesley and Maria like them so much, but I had thought that it will foul seafood smell. But teesrios were really good. Please visit this place and shoot the video here.
@lesleyingoa aunty from sanquelim come to keri. There is one more restaurant call goan spice its 2 good pls do come its just 7 kilometer from sanquelim
Lesley, a very Good Afternoon from Pune. I believe you all are born & brought up in the lovely Goa. So I wonder why you pronounce Goan town names as if you are non goans? Why सांकोलिम instead of सांखळी? & बिचोलिम instead of बिचोली? Outsiders unnecessarily conisider our native names as wierd. Please consider my request..
@lesleyingoa may be but original konkani names are just the same what we see as english spellings names totally complicate the beautiful goan names. By the way you pronounce बिचोली perfectly.. what I presume is spreading correct information to the world is the responsibility of we natives/locals as people look at vloggers like you for authentic information. Please don't take it otherwise but you have earned that respect so expectations rise. eg. Still we are struggling to change Bombay to Mumbai just because locals don't try to correct the wrong pronunciation established by britishers.. luckliy our Indian tongue s are quite flexible by nature that we can afopt fast to any correct names, if we wish to.. I like your authentic & down to earth vlogs about Goa & hence have full respect about you hence expectations of correctness arise. Pl forgive me if I am wrong 🙏
Prawn curry over Dhal any day. When someone asks me you don’t eat veg..I say.. what’s Veg. It doesn’t exist in my dictionary. What is that I don’t know. 🤷🏽♂️ 😂
Hi all!! Been sometime since I've commented (not that it matters but that's my way of an "apology" of sorts). Lesley, you have this ability to make food look tasty. I remember my late mother mixing her food with her fingers and somehow, it would always look tastier than mine. She would invariably land up feeding us ravenous kids from her plate. The good Lord bless her soul!! Me thinks Nepal isn't going to be that conducive to seafood. Not unless you have flying fish that is. Enjoy your trip there and keep safe ladies...
Hi Michael, yes, after a long time. Was amazed to see so much dried fish in Nepal and even more amazed to learn that it was not being sold for eating but for offering to divinities. Having a wonderful time tasting the varied Nepali and Tibetan food. Will be back in Goa on Sunday. Cheers
I really thought Jaya will start cooking she asked for chillies, lemon added salt to the dal. Hahahahahhaha she was miserable eating her veg thali. Hahahahahha. I always feel she has a miserable time with what she orders. LOL
Funny how Lesley is loving her food while Jaya is absolutely miserable eating hers. Lovely watching you guys. God bless.
I wouldn't say she was miserable but her thali was so-so for sure
Amazing restaurant n yummy looking thali . Jaya madam try to avoid maida products instead of opt for 🌾🌾 wheat flour loving your video ❤❤❤

@lesleyingoa thats great. Even I am grateful that I found him. Been trying to follow all that I can to improve my health. Wishing you good health.
The prices here looked reasonable. Decent restaurant. Drink plenty of warm water to make diabetes less difficult.
Yummy as always. Thank you. Looks like the fish thali was far superior than the veg one going by the experience you both had.

Jaya is not liking her veg thali🙄. I feel it's bland.Did she add salt to her dal?
Jaya eats too much salt. Adds even when not needed
@lesleyingoa She must be cautioned for progressing towards B.P 😒.
In doing food hops lunch and dinner tour separately
Hi dear we don’t shoot at dinner time because our camera is not good enough for night time shooting

Hi, pronunciation of place names in Goa varies from taluka to taluka. There is no one correct way

Why don't you ask them in advance to replace the sweet dish with something else? Like another portion of salad or curry?
Because we want our viewers to see what thali they will get

Solcurry aunty thumbs down🤣😂😂

Hi Charmaine, Jaya is always cooking no matter what she orders. If not chilli and nimboo then she wants Tabasco or vinegar!
Veg thali looked boring. Chonak thali looked exciting 🙂
Veg thali with below par daal is no good.
Jaya ma’am’s thali was boring 😅
Both the thalis are very nice. But to tell jaya ,Roti doesn’t suit for Goan gravys Roti is meant for thick gravy’s which are mostly North Indian gravy
Yes, she knows but prefers rotis as she is Rajasthan. To each their own way
