Honestly when im in rain, i have the merc so u know what i mean, if it just starts raining and im of softs i start doing donuts to warm my tyres up, then box onto wets, and the even if i set like a 1:44:789 its gives like 186k

So what i do is i go to france and turn off penalties, tire wear, and fuel. Then i get my formula x car which is paid and then i start setting 52 second lap times lol and i got like 14 mil in 45 minutes which was done in a paid private server
Hey fex, for me at least it prompts me to purchase the formula x car when I create a race mode server and set it to formula x then click launch. I'm not sure why but you might know

People try doing laps when it’s raining, it’s a little bit harder to do, but you get paid lots of money, in France doing 1:40(I’m a bad driver I know) I get up to 180000+, try it out for yourselves, you don’t need the formula x, and in 5-6 laps you can get 1 million.
yeh i actually found it out by accident when I was doing laps in the rain. Your laps are slower but you get like double or triple sometimes the amount of money you would get if your doing a dry lap. So yeh this another way to farm money in this game.

I recommend using the USA Oval track with the Formula X car. You get 74,667 dollars (not including the bonus from being in the group) every 30 to 33 seconds. That's slightly under 150,000 a minute, or 8,960,000 per hour. It's a lot easier than the France track, since it's an oval.
Edit: Forgot to mention, it's all free. And there are no corners you can cut
