Thanks for tutoring. I am just a new comer in this Bible show. And I believe that with this teaching I will make progress easily. Please I will ask questions when I do not understand.
Thanks for tutorial. Great job! Just a note regarding generating multiple Data Output files in sync. You preferred to use 2 instances but this is also possible in one app instance, but activating second Display (you can find it under Configure - Display settings). Customize it by selecting a same Bible source and even enabling Merge reference and text. Blessings!
We use Bible Show at our church for our live stream but we use it with NDI; NDI out from Bible Show (built in) and NDI in with vMix. No need to use XML or do all of that setup. Bible Show also has built in lower 3rds that you can download and use if you don't want to use full screen.
Nice.👍 I have tested NDI and while at that time, it seems to be quite taxing on my older i7 laptop and found the XML route; I haven't went back to NDI as its all local information; plus it gives me flexibility to any number of custom lower third designs and throw the text data on top.
Thank you very much Please in case I'm using two laptops, how can I get the Bible show from the other laptop to my streaming laptop in case I don't want to install Bible show on my streaming laptop ??
Excellent video!! BibleShow continues to amaze me with it's capability. I never knew about the XML data out. Just tried it out and it works great. They way I use BibleShow right now is to use it's NDI output to send the scripture slides to vMix as an input. It works very well so far. I will need to do more testing with this data source method to see if it can be useful in my workflow. Again, great video!!
Of course! When testing the NDI output from BibleShow seemed to be more cpu intensive than it should of been. The XML gives you more flexibility with vmix inputs anyway. God Bless
@@Deraco1 I know thing or two about vMix being CPU intensive for some things. My computers on average tend to be under powered. (i7 4th Gen is mostly what I have.) So I spread the work over multiple computers. vMix on one, Bible show on another. NDI all around. Works out fairly well. I kinda like the look and format of the Bible show slides as well. What I really took interest in was the idea that you could run multiple instances of Bible Show and link them together! I did not know it can do that! For a while now I have wanted to be able to put full screen scriptures on the large sanctuary screens. But on the broadcast, make it a lower third. (Right now it is P-n-P on both, with the live camera in the smaller window.) This is perfect! Two Bible Show instances that are in sync but producing two differently formatted overlays. Thanks so much for revealing that bit of info.
I actually just tested it. The second instance of BibleShow produces a second display and NDI feed. vMix can see both feeds as independent. This is great! This program continues to amaze me.

Many blessings to you! Is there a way to download this app on a Mac?
It's windows only. But might be able to use boot camp or parallels with a windows instance to use this over the network
There is no data.xml file n the new bibleshow output directory what do i do?
Under Options, you have to go to Configure then check Data files to enable XML output. 2:51 will show you
