I went to Michael's and TJ Maxx last week and was shocked to see that they had very little Halloween merch on display. Both stores have gone into full Christmas/winter holiday decor mode. I love Rec and Halloween House, LLC. The first time I watched Rec, I screamed a few times, which is not typical for me. I was disappointed in Rec 2, but I haven't watched Rec 3 yet. I've been slumpy in my reading, too. I have DNF two books over the past couple of weeks and am pretty certain I'm about to DNF another. I'm finding comfort in revisiting a favorite (Stephen King's Salem's Lot) on audio. I also started Dead Leaves by Kealan Patrick Burke yesterday & I'm liking it. The family decor piece being passed down melted my heart. I got my love of Halloween from my grandfather. He used to go all out every year but he’s gotten to the point that he’s getting too old to do so. Also the plot hole of the family with a child moving in is because the monster was going to come after her grandson Wybie if she didn’t let Coraline’s family move in.
