Many speakers like this don't include mics anymore which is a shame. The Sony ULT Field 1 has a mic with echo cancellation: ruclips.net/video/5RW-4l54WCU/видео.html I need to feature the mic on speakers more often as I forget! I can see if I can record a demo
Here are the main differences: The JBL Go 4 has a 1.75" vs. a 1.5" speaker, better battery life at 7 hours vs. 5 hours. Only the JBL Go 4 works with the JBL Portable App, plus lets you do multi speaker connection (Auracast). If these features are important, go for the Go 4, if not, get the Go 3 on sale.
I just got mine today I connected it to my Samsung phone but when I got home I tried tomconnect it to my laptop and unpaired it from my phone but it wouldn't pair to laptop and after wouldn't pair back on m6 phone any help please
I must be getting old. Every review of every speaker is completely absent of the time when real music existed, lol. This stuff isn't music, it's brainless drivel with no character or humanity to it. But hey, good little speaker, lol.

Does the EQ setting stick if you connect to another device without the app? The Tribit goes back to default in those cases, which is annoying.
On the JBL Portable App, it remembers the EQ setting you selected from before.
