Very cool intro to getting the synty models into a character workflow! Very useful and quick tutorial for all [with or without the synty models to be fair] Stirling work as per usual ST
@@SpeedTutor I think that's good, in my opinion people often pay too much attention to what others think. I also feel like every 2nd English word i speak i pronounce wrong xD.😁👍
Haha, it's not about being too much attention for me. It's just the fact that I know it will annoy those that know it's said in a different way. I just saw it this way and it's stuck in my head. Is English your second language? You have an excuse, I don't! :P
@@SpeedTutor Haha xD thats also a good reason 😁. Yes English is my second language, my mother language is german 👍. For every audio i do for my youtube videos i need 5 takes just be cause of "a" and "an" xD, i hope this gets better by practising.
Hey dude, I've been doing well apart from the usual rumbling issues. Other than that, trying to get a new update ready for my assets and creating new content that will hopefully be useful for everyone. What have you been working on? :)
@@SpeedTutor That's good to know thanks for sharing that, i'm blocking out the world for my 3rd person adventure puzzle game its kinda refreshing since its my first time doing level design i'm learning as i go
@@SpeedTutor Progress is a bit slow cause i'm iterating a lot and finding what works and what doesn't but hopefully it will speed up in the coming weeks, thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to reply much appreciated
hey i know this video is quite old but if u see this do you know why the character is falling through the ground? im using the characters from the heist pack btw.

Thanks man, I appreciate you coming along to check this out! :D
You're helping me a lot today man, thanks again :)
You're very welcome! :D I'm glad you found it useful!
I like the way you pronounce synty😁. But jokes aside, quick and great video 😀👍.
Haha, yep. I'm a silly sausage. I'll just have to come to the realisation that I prefer saying it my way! :P

@@49wares Haha, that's like me! I spend the longest time getting the intro right but needless to say, practise makes perfect in any case.
Does this support strafing like the basic animation pack provided by Synty?
I'm not sure it does but could be implemented.
What's up man how you been thanks for the video

@@stylie473joker5 I always try my best to chat to everyone that takes the time to comment! :D Good luck with the progress, what sort of style is it?
Hello, nice video, but i have a little question. How can i move the camera position? Thanks already^^
I'm not sure what you're asking but you should be able to move your mouse? :)
You need to uncheck the default camera in the main hierarchy to get the third person character's camera working.
Very useful video - thanks! Btw, I believe it's pronounced "Sin-Tea" ;)
Haha, I know! It's an issue on my part, have you ever looked at a word and seen it a particular way but then it's stuck in your head like it?

Do they have any colliders on them? :)
@@SpeedTutor I realized i didn't after a 3 days or so but thank you!
I'm using the latest Unity, and my character became a heap of parts... I think there's something weird with the skeleton/rig...
That's really strange, maybe you could message the developers and see if they've had reported issues?
Why didnt you use your own Character Controller, Which is cooler then Unitys :)
That's because the Unity starter controllers are easily accessible to everyone :)
