Although this may seem like just another funny goofy meme video, it actually does say a lot about Ipad children these days and the content they consume. The fact that a lot of parents give their children unlimited access to the internet really concerns me for their futures. I really hope this won't become an unhealthy addiction for many people.

as a gen z, I genuinely feel scared for gen alpha, and I cant IMAGINE what Gen Alpha will be like.
The saddest part of this entire thing is the fact that this is the story of my 6 year old nephew's life. He's exactly like this, no joke. Even the years add up at the beginning.
The moment when Timmy was thrown out of the job interview and he says he "misses the old days" when jokes like Skibidi Ohio fanum tax were funny actually has a lot to it. It reminded me of how old folks will say or do something that's very clearly considered sexual harassment, and they'll say "I miss the old days when this was seen as acceptable." Times change. Humor changes, opinions on what behavior is normal changes. People sometimes get stuck in the past.
Yeah but i really wish the generation’s humor would never change to anything weird like skibidi toilet. Sure theres gonna be technology, but they should use it for a good purpose

Millennials did it with Peanut Butter Jelly Time and Nyan Cat, Zillennials did it with Charlie the Unicorn and the MLG memes era, Gen Z did it with Meme Man/Mr. Succ and deep fried bass boosted memes. Now Gen Alpha is doing it with Skibidi Toilet Ohio Rizz whatever the fuck. This is just how it happens. I do however agree that raising your kids by shoving an iPad in their face and letting them watch content all day is pretty unhealthy.

@@BlueTyphoon2017 Oh yeah Gen Z definitely knows what Charlie the Unicorn and MLG are, but I don't think most Zoomers grew up on that content. The same way I'm just a little too young to have grown up in the heyday of MySpace, but I'm familiar with what it is.
As for what Meme Man is, he's a character associated with a series called the "Surreal Meme Saga." Someone found an early attempt to make a 3D animated model of a human head and face, and it was very poorly done. It looked pretty funny, so people started using it as a character for shitposts and bizarre dank memes. A channel called Special Meme Fresh made this goofy ass comic wherein the 3D head argues with another similarly low quality animation model about how to properly sip a drink through a straw, and he says "Why sip when you can suck?" He then became known as "Mr. Succ" for a while, before eventually becoming a popular character in videos made by channels like Timotainment and Bagel Boy. They referred to him as "Meme Man" which is his more common name.

We paved the way for Skibidi Toilet to even exist. It's basically similar to TF2 memes. And people forget that the Ugandan Knuckles fad was even more hated & controversial than Skibidi Toilet. Ugandan Knuckles only lasted for less than a few months.

If the parents wont teach their children then the least we can do in try to influence the next generation ourselves through the internet.
Which sounds scary but Gen Z and early milinials can still try and give them content they can learn from.
I hope that our generation (late millenials and gen z) will be more responsible parents because we already grew up with the internet and meme culture, so we know how to differentiate between content that is appropiate for children and what is harmful and inappropiate. The problem nowadays is that too many parents let their kids watch stuff that was meant as ironic shitposting content for adults, but it might look like its for children from the outside at first, without them even realizing how inappropiate and bad it is for children.
