The part when you talked about not being able to explore the other aspects of the world without being ridiculed was truly valid and I believe that many other feels the same. However, I feel the need to clarify that most scientists know very clear how science cannot and will never be able to explain some specific aspects of the world. It’s frustrating to see people claiming they “believe in science” yet refusing to accept its limits. As a young scientist and a newbie witch, I’m still slowly building my duel identity. It’s ok to let go of some people and relationships, but keep in mind that your friends will still be your friends even if you changed your beliefs, and will respect whatever your beliefs are.

The whole reading thing resonated so much with me. I was consistently the top reader in my grade up into high school and I just fell out of it, but starting my research into witchcraft and beginning my journey has really helped me reconnect with that part of me and I'm excited to be done with work or to have free time to read and research and study and it's so refreshing to have that passion again.
Your entire point about witchcraft getting you back into reading really resonated with me. I was the same way in elementary school, reading constantly and at “higher” levels. Then by junior high through till just recently I had extreme trouble reading things, for school or for pleasure. Diving into witchcraft and the occult a few years ago was what really rekindled my love for reading things I’m passionate about. So glad I’m not alone in this ♥️
I'm an atheist, for me deity work is like working with a personified symbol or archetype of something or working with an ancient folk deity as a practice rather than an actual belief. I especially love the idea of flawed deities that have stories of them trying to get better at being a good example of doing their work, which can give lessons for those who hear the stories.
I remember you from the Wonderlust coven and when you started your channel I followed immediately. Congratulations on 10,000 subs! You do an excellent job I always find value in your content. Thank you!
Wow, your new image (along with the fur in the background) SLAYS, gives me some folk/hippie/indie witch vibes, I absolutely love it 💜💜💜 I believe since the moment I became a witch I started to be more prone to other people's energy, like "oh wow, they have a very bad energy, I need to cleanse myself later"
Executive dysfunction (ADD) is such a burden for me, it stopped me from so so many things in life aswell in witchcraft. Made me feel like an imposter at times that I even dropped out of the craft. But I always come back because my love is too strong and my life is filled with magic and will always be.
I loved this. So much about this resonated with me completely. From atheism to the ADHD, i really appreciate you taking about this! I CAN'T turn off the cynical "pshhhh, whatever. None of this is provable" voice. It's driving me nuts! 🤣✌️
I can completely relate to the reading part. I read obsessively when I was younger and life got in the way. I've read more in the last year and a half than I have in the 10 years before that.
Wow what you said about reading was literally me in elementary/junior high. I just started to pick up books again because of witchcraft. And I did try to study magick everyday and guess what happened? Lol 😂 I got burnt out. You are so lovely thanks for this video I feel validated and supported. Also motivated because this is something that I know has already begun to change my life and I'm so ready to continue that journey.
Loved when you spoke on how community changed your path! When I became more open to community I learned so much from other cultures and traditions and it really opened me up to so much! Thank you for the video ❤️
You're a great person and support for me and obviously others. That's why you hit your subscriber goals and will continue to do so. You just seem so lovely and genuine. And humble. That's hard to come across these days. You remind me of Molly Roberts herspeak actually. You've inspired me to make my own channel also. Also, I can definitely relate to this topic. So thank you 💙
Congrats on 10k and happy anniversary! I love hearing your thoughts on basically anything - you're so down to earth and an entertaining teacher, and clearly knowledgeable on a lot of interesting topics. Once I realized I could "study" the occult/mysticism topics I was never allowed to be interested in, it really reignited my passion for like STUDYING. I forgot how much I enjoyed reading nonfiction when it was something I was really interested in, esp that I could apply practically.
Nike I am so incredibly proud of you! It's super warming to hear how human and humble you are and how far you've come! I feel like our paths have been very similar and I watch your experiences with being reignited to read through witchcraft and resonate with that, and ironically some of those things have been at the same time. I find great value in your content, and you feel like a friend I'm going on a journey with, and it's amazing to watch you grow and see other people feel the same. Sorry if this is a little more sappy or personal I'm in my feels today and you're doing amazing!! Keep being who you are
I’ve been on a streak, watching all your videos. I really enjoy the vibes and knowledge you impart in your videos. Thank you so much for sharing ☺️ also I really love the background music you include (I find it so peaceful 🥺) have a great day 🥰
So you miss a week once in a while...? I have a "weekly" podcast that has almost as many "sorry I'm late" episodes as anything else... and the last published episode was on January 25th! (I also just discovered the episode I *thought* was published after that is still listed in the system as "draft" and I don't have any excuse beyond "oops"). Everyone has a life, everyone's life has complications, you've hit the 10K mark (CONGRATS!) because your subject matter is interesting, your subject matter is presented in an interesting way, and you're very much a human being in front of the camera. More power to ya -- and I'll keep tuning in here & to OWAS! :-)

It’s a special kind of magic
@@WarriorWitchNike it's a minecraft kinda magic
Thank you. As someone who also has ADHD and is trying to find my path it feels nice to hear this.
Yeah. It does feel nice.
I’m adhd and dyslexic so I’ve never been that into books until beginning my witchy journey lol

What a great video Nike! I am so glad I met you in the servers. They have been a huge growth catalyst for me.
UGH YESSSS the reading! My struggles with ADD would keep me from my it too at times and this practice unleashed my inner Hermione Granger!
