    Greg Judy and Joel Salatin are the greats of modern regenerative farming! What a blessing to hear that young man speak of God! Watching animals be the animals and live the life they were created for by God, is a blessing! I can't wait to watch the Masterclasses at A+!

    Two great gentlemen making history at its best. Greg is one of our wise farming mentors. He just doesn't know it. I look forward to the day we get to meet him and his wife. We appreciate his knowledge and teachings so much.
    Great video, and now you and Greg have a tick bond with each other😂 God has a great since of humor.
    Thank you for bringing the best to us. Much love to you... Sis

    Hi Dan. My daughter and I saw you at the Pilgrims market in CDA last Saturday. I smiled at you and would have said hi but you looked like you were on a mission.
    As always awesome job on this video. You capture all of the elements very well.
    Thanks for sharing. Take care, see ya :)

      Ha! Yes, I was on a mission. I was getting a snack before heading off to film a wedding in CDA. I would've had a minute to say "hi", though. That's the second time you haven't said "hi" to me. Next time, I'll be offended! 😉

    So excited to see this! We are planning on bringing cattle onto our land next year. We’re on the side of of mountain in Northern Idaho so our journey with cattle will be unique and challenging. We currently raise our meat birds, Kune Kune pigs and hens/geese for eggs!

    You did a very good job on these videos i just watched the live with Greg and Justin, may i ask what is a good beginning camera set up for youtube i have been using a phone for almost a year and im looking into some action cameras and the rode wireless pro microphone.

      @TheGrassfedHomestead  11 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you! I don't like action cameras very much so I don't recommend them as a primary camera for vlogging. For a good beginner camera, I'd look at the Sony ZV-E10

    Greg Judy has been hugely successful and is educating and helping a ton of people. I like Greg Judy. But Greg Judy also likes Greg Judy a little too much! He can be arrogant and he thinks his way is the only way!
    He thinks the South Poll is the end all be all when Aberdeen (aka lowline) Angus and the Black Baldy (Angus/Hereford cross) have the same positive qualities as the South Poll but superior meat and you can produce them cheaper and if you’re doing this to sell beef you’re going to make more money because they are far better known.
    South Polls are like Alpacas. You make more money selling calves than the meat because they’re just not that well-known or understood by the public.
    Everyone that has ever bought a steak or hamburger meat knows what an Angus is. They have never heard of a South Poll.

      When your ready for some good beef, eat some South Poll beef, whoops I mean “Alpaca” . I love it when people beat me up for being successful after working a lifetime and starting with nothing. Looks like your another member of the Greg Judy hater club.

      You might wanna work on your reading comprehension skills. 75% of my comment was positive and giving you credit and praising you. I think you’re a great guy. You have built a hell of a business from nothing. You are one of the experts, on rotational, grazing and regenerative agriculture, when it comes to livestock, especially cattle. I don’t take anything away from you. I’m subscribed to your channel and I love your videos. But you also have some faults. No one is perfect. I do think you’re a little bit on the arrogant side. You seem to think your way is the only way. It’s not the only way. And if you wanna run a commercial business, a commercial cattle business, especially in the south or the southwest you’re going to be a more successful with something like Black Baldys or Angus. I’m sorry you don’t like that, but it is absolutely true. I know this because I’m involved in my county, Cattlemens association, and the South Carolina Cattlemens Association. And some areas of the south and southwest people only want black Angus in other areas, they only want red Angus. These things matter because of marketing. When it comes to South Poll cattle as beef you’re having to educate people rather than simply market to them. You’re an evangelist. I get it. Nothing wrong with that. But stop being arrogant and thinking your way is the only way and those cattle are the only cattle. But again I’m a huge fan. Read my comments. You’re coming across a little bit thin skin by taking someone that’s overwhelmingly positive, but had a couple of very accurate and honest constructive criticisms.
