Alexs mobs: Nice generally well balanced and reasonable additions to vanilla. Alex's caves: Lets just go wild! (EDIT:it's been a few months but if this statement bothers you I posted an explanation down in the replies, thx)
I love how this isn't 100% "vanilla plus". It feels like if the terraria devs made a minecraft mod in the BEST way possible. This might genuinely get me back into minecraft, the quality brought here is insane.
@@Foreck Not really, it doesn't disrupt any features of the modern versions. Sure, maybe it ruins sculk, we don't know if the deep dark is still included in this, maybe it isn't. Even then, it isn't that bad as we get alot for it in exchange. And if it CAN generate, then what is there being held back? Mobs from Alex's mobs all had uses and aren't too common at all, besides maybe the little weaker ones. Underground mobs the creator added make the caves way more dangerous and actually fun. Otherwise, it depends what mods we're talking about. Most vanilla + mods do NOT hold modern versions back because.. Well.. They're vanilla +.. Vanilla friendly. They're supposed to fit in, which most that are properly done, actually do!
@@JoshGens agreed. Also the vanilla + mods do make Minecraft feel more alive! And they take less effort so a newbie modder can learn making those small vanilla plus mods

Because it lets the community get involved in the creation process and ensures that because the first caves are what the community wants, the mod will keep public interest long enough to warrant continued development.
microva sounds super unique and interesting. Tbh not a single concept was a bad choice to me. We really can't go wrong. I also love the candy cavity one. Looks awesome
NOW THIS IS A MINECRAFT MOD MAKER! Nearly everything you make puts me in constant shock and awe with how professional, polished, and PERFECT these mods are!!! I love these caves, and I don't think I can wait to play them! And the cave vote??? THEY ALL LOOK ABSOLUTLEY OUTSTANDING! The artstyle for the concepts just make me giddy and happy! I WANT THEM ALL, but I will happily vote for my favorite! Thank you thank you THANK YOU! I am so excited for whatever you do next!
Looks so fun! Can’t believe I can only vote for one of those amazing ideas. Just for myself, I’m going to put a list here for what I want to win: 1. Flesh Pit 2. Galactic Caverns 3. Candy Cavity 4. Cenote of Souls 5. Heavenly Hollows 6. Forlorn Hallows 7. Paranormal Pit 8. Microve 9. Dynastic Necropolis 10. Chamber of Champions 11. Lilliputian Grotto 12. Great Oak
I love ALL of the caves you've made so far, and all of the cave biome vote options also look so cool and unique! I really like the concepts for the forlorn hallows, Microve, Candy Cavity, Heavenly Hallows, Flesh Pit, And Chamber of Champions. And out of those options, I think my top pick would have to be the Forlorn Hallows and Microve.
WHAT BIOME ARE YOU VOTING? 1. Candy Cavity🍬🍭: The most delicious biome! This is a magical biome filled with candy, perhaps the gummy mobs can drop themselves when I kill them. I love the candy crystals and the trees, it gives me so much Mario Galaxy and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory vibes. The colorful floor on the bottom looks pretty, it's probably candy grass. Imagine fighting a gummy worm though, that would be amazing. There's actually other concept art of this biome with lollypops. There will be an absolute shit ton of new food items. I can imagine the boss fights, candy armor, cool builds, and weapons. A pet nyan cat or gummy bear would be nice. If you want to build your house with candy in this biome whilst having unlimited food supply, this biome you should vote! 2. Galactic Cavern 🪐: This is a very creative paranormal cave biome idea. He has actually said in another post that this biome has 0 gravity. I don't even know how this would even be possible in Minecraft, because the concept art is just some creature with what looks like a hole to the goddamn outer space, but Alex would definitely make this the most amazing biome ever. Imagine the technology, the boss fights, the armor, and the atmosphere. It would be like as if I'm in a whole another dimension. If you love the outer space whilst having adventures with game changing mechanics, like 0 freaking gravity, this biome you should vote! 3. Microbe 🦠: I have two theories on what this could be. Maybe this is a biome where everything usually small is gigantic by some magic or evolution or this biome really is small and you have to shrink somehow to encounter the features on this biome. I Imagine that there could be a shrinking machine or potion that could shrink you to the size of a tardigrade. Also, we have the endergrade's ancestor, since the end is the future. I you like to feeling like an ant and exploring microorganisms, this biome you should vote! 4. Forlorn Hallows👹: This is one of the scarier biomes with some lore to it. In a post, he said "Home to a ominous ideology that must feed their starving idol." The intimidating beast on the right could be the said, "Starving idol", but it could also be the one who is trying to feed the starving idol. If not the ladder, I could imagine a very sadistic cult in this twisted place like from King Kong. This could actually be scarier than the deep dark. This mod would certainly gain a lot of popularity for scary content, like have you seen Granny or Piggy. If you like playing horror games and want to find out more about this lore, this biome you should vote! 5. Great Oak🕷️: A post says this is a very giant tree that harbors equally enormous arthropods inside of it. It reminds of the Insect Pit from King Kong. It also reminds me of the Erebus Dimension which gives me nostalgia. I think this would be a giant tree that's stump goes deep underground for spiders and centipedes to live in. The tree would be great for wood supply underground and some of the bugs could make useful pets. There should also be a giant spider, scorpion, or other arachnid boss. The bugs could drop very useful stuff to make strong armor and weapons. I have this idea that they should spawn these near the Toxic Caves biome to let us know why the trees got so big. If you like fighting disgusting critters or want a pet bug and new armor, this biome you should vote! 6. The Chamber of Champions🏆: This is the home of the beasts of long lost mythos. The minotaur on the right looks amazing. This biome would definitely be the one with the most bosses and mini bosses to fight. Imagine all the amazing weapons and armor these absolute muscle heads would drop. Also, I love the style of the cave. It reminds me of Puss and Boots. Since this is the creator of the Ice and Fire mod, you know there is gonna be a lot of cool mobs to fight. If you could have pets there, they would be unstoppable. If you like mythology, boss fights, and feeling powerful, this biome you should vote! 7. Paranormal Pit👻: This is interesting, because this biome is an invisible world that you must have an item to see and interact with. A post has shown this with a gif. This adds ghost blocks that could be used for builds, like an invisible chest. This place probably holds a lot of good loot in it's chests. If you like ghosts and want to scare people, this biome you should vote! 8. Heavenly Hollows👼: This is a very Christian biome, so it will outcast anything that is evil. What's weird is that it's a heaven underground, but It looks good. This will definitely bring some nostalgia to the Aether mod lovers. The post says that this place is deemed perfect until you arrive, which implies that there's gonna be some sort of catch. The biblically accurate angels do look intimidating I might add. Maybe if you committed sin anywhere in the game, you will get attacked by them. Like, for example, if you kill a villager, that would make them want to attack you. If so, then I hope there is a way to get them to forgive me of my sin. Anyways, we can probably ride on clouds and get healed a lot there. There are definitely new builds to play around with. If you like heaven and honestly, who doesn't, this biome you should vote! 9. Flesh Pit🫁: I love this one because this is most definitely inspired by the Mystery Flesh Pit National Park which is a giant organism that is deeper than the Mariana Trench that gets turned into a national park by some idiotic oil companies. The flesh pit is a breathing and thinking cavern that doesn't take kindly to invaders. It has these eyeball things that attack you. There are probably parasites lurking there too. It's such an interesting premise for a cave even though it's already used. If you like weird and freaky shit, this biome you should vote. 10. Lilliputian Grotto✨: This a dark biome with colored lights and little people who may be able to trade or help you with other stuff. This reminds me of the cave in Minecraft dungeons with the glowing monstrosities. A post says that you could shrink to understand them. So, maybe I was right about the Microbe biome part. If you like becoming small and civilizations in Minecraft, this biome you should vote! 11. Cenote of Souls🪅: This biome is glorious. I like the movie Coco and The Book of Life and this reminds me of the Day of the Dead. Hooray, Mexican representation! That spirit guide is a cute pet too. This biome should have a lot of different spirit guides which would make great pets. They would protect the absolute hell out of you. It's like a biome full of pets. If you like Mexican culture and pets, this biome you shall vote! 12. Dynastic Necropolis🐲: I love the Chinese style. There are warriors and dragons. That dragon also look wiggly too. I would like to live there. If you like China and dragons, this biome you should vote!
Honestly, I'm not really feeling the more 'built up' ones like the chamber of champions, and especially paranormal pit. They just don't feel as cool and atmospheric as the more natural ones.

@@LittlePawPup that's a really good idea actually, I like terraria a lot for how each biomes has specific spawns, and you can manipulate mechanics to make farms. theres a minecraft mod where you can 'capture' biomes in a bottle
the fact that modders like Alex put in so much effort making quality free content for others to enjoy is incredible, and super selfless when you think about it. It's really disheartening when a few bad apples nitpick or complain when they are literally given access to free content. It boggles the mind how self-entitled some people are. You probably wont read this Alex, but thanks for sharing your talents with the rest of us.
I love how the dynastic necropolis seems to be based off the legendary tomb of Qin Shi Huang, as legends state that the tomb contains a replica of a city with rivers of mercury and great treasure, which is what the concept art seems to be hinting at
I love all those sort of cultural style biomes, with the day-of-the-dead, greek pottery, scooby-doo ghost town, and chinese art. hell, I can't pick just one as my favorite, I'd say galactic cavern, dynastic necropolis, and microve are up there but I love all of them.
You should add an ambient noise that will play rarely when you are in the abyss that is a roar of some giant creature. The idea is the creature docent exist but to plunge the player into an ever longer exploration of the abyss trying to find the creature.
If I had money, I’ll give it all to you 😂 You really deserve it! Thanks for giving us some of the bests mods in the whole Minecraft history. Keep going, you can be sure that we will give you the biggest W!!
Y'know, I was expecting a song that's on the spooky side of things considering this is intended to recreate the horrors of the deep ocean.. but I guess this works too..
This mod will be incredible. Imagine this paired with create aeronautics, more sea horror themed mods, and a custom world generation where the surface is blocked off by ice and bedrock and there are only the dark depths of the ocean to traverse… Amazing.
Oh god, please don't tell me you're going to treat the cave votes similarly to how Mojang treats mob votes and force players to pick one slice of content while throwing out the rest.
At first I was impressed but ambivalent towards this mod, because it was so wild. Now I see the light. Might be a strange comparison, but this reminds of the old-school mods, like Orespawn. Just insane fun. But done with 1000% more thought, care, and polish. I'm super excited now, after seeing this video and those concepts.
These are some real DRG type caves. Forlorn hallows reminds me of the sandblasted corridors, Great Oak and flesh pit remind me of the Awful terrible stinky Hollow Bough, Lilliputian Grotto reminds me of Azure Weald, and the Toxic caves remind me of the Fungus Bogs.
My top 3 caves, which I want to see the most: 3. Dynastic Necropolis (Very Interesting) 2. Forlorn Hollows (This Monster gives me chills) 1. Galactic Caverns (Love space more, than anything in my live lol)
This will definitely be the kind of mod that modpackers include in every modpack they make, even if it doesnt fit the modpack theme, just because it's that good.
Add every single mod this dude's ever made and we basically got a triple-A game's worth of highly intricate and polished content, if only my pc was strong enough to handle them all at once I could basically play with only his mods and never get bored, add in mods with compatibility and bam, server's worth of fun

the fact that modders like Alex put in so much effort making quality free content for others to enjoy is incredible, and super selfless when you think about it. It's really disheartening when a few bad apples nitpick or complain when they are literally given access to free content. It boggles the mind how self-entitled some people are. You probably wont read this Alex, but thanks for sharing your talents with the rest of us.
Personally I’d go for the candy cavity, looks freaky and cute!
Watching this almost feels like a fever dream honestly. But I have really been wanting something like this, and this looks amazing.
Hope there will be other underwater biomes in this mod in future
I love how the dynastic necropolis seems to be based off the legendary tomb of Qin Shi Huang, as legends state that the tomb contains a replica of a city with rivers of mercury and great treasure, which is what the concept art seems to be hinting at
I love all those sort of cultural style biomes, with the day-of-the-dead, greek pottery, scooby-doo ghost town, and chinese art. hell, I can't pick just one as my favorite, I'd say galactic cavern, dynastic necropolis, and microve are up there but I love all of them.
actually all of them are going to come
the vote is just for which cave gets added first
@@lt.j.kiwi_utdr oh, I thought this was like the mob votes
this is gonna be the best
You should add an ambient noise that will play rarely when you are in the abyss that is a roar of some giant creature. The idea is the creature docent exist but to plunge the player into an ever longer exploration of the abyss trying to find the creature.
Ecological dead zone lookin ahh. Can’t wait! More fish is always a plus!
This is looks on par with vanilla content. The guardian mines are so creative! Very excited to see the next biomes.
Top-tier song choice.
This is awesome! Can't wait to see what comes next.
now imagine combining this mod with create aeronautics and their new submarines
subnauticacraft
My single thought through all these videos is "would I be safe inside an Aeronautics tank?"
@@Satepin probably not, you probably want create auto cannons
NEED this asap but also please take your time with it!! I'm so excited for it I can hardly wait!!!
Question: When this mod comes out, are we gonna be able to configure what biomes generate?
That's 2 questions.
Edit: Bruh, HOW DID I MAKE THAT MISTAKE?!
@@GuyllianVanRixtel how is that two questions
@@NishimotoBricks You asked when the update is coming out, and then asked if you could configure biomes.
@@GuyllianVanRixtel i do not þink they asked when it came out.
@@GuyllianVanRixtel they didn't ask when the mod is coming out, they said "when the update comes out" not "when does the update come out"
If I had money, I’ll give it all to you 😂 You really deserve it!
It’s more about to “irony” of the situation that makes it scary. Since the music contrasts the video that’s the irony. In my opinion.
@@alphagatorstudio It's also a reference to the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Alex loves to sprinkle SpongeBob references into his mods.
I can not wait to make a zoo with this mod, it is going to be amazing! Especially with that alien cave in the concept art :)
This is a great example of a mod maker who makes better content than a whole team of devlopers
Not a mod maker 2 noon is underappriciated becuase he made the models ur seeing bruh
Now this is epic. Keep up the work mr alex always impressed with the production levels of the trailers.
bro ain’t no way bro adding subnautica to minecraft
This is a certified Deep Rock Galactic caves moment.

Nope, unlike mojang alex and the team plan on adding all of them In over time.
You know I legitimately wanted a sort of flesh pit cave biome in Minecraft. Good to know you have the same idea
Sadly, it's not for fabric...
Why don’t you fabricate some bitches.
Dude is absolutely working himself to the bone and it’s paying off
i fucking love it all, the concepts, the mobs, the stuffs, the builds, EVERYTHING
Insane mod, I am loving everything from it
How can this guy be so good at making concepts all of them are so good
You have no idea how much I love deep ocean mods! It would be cool if its compatible with odd water mobs.
Odd Water Mobs is stuck on a older version (i think)
No no, they wont be compati le
I was about to say that Galactic Caves looks like my favorite, but then came Lilliputian Grotto and omg 😍😍
i really hope the biomes that appear at the end of the video come back in some update in the future, because they all look awesome
Finally, I've been waiting for any cool ocean related mod like this for ages!! :D
There's just so much!!! So many caves of such high quality so quickly. Would take mojang 5 years to make this mod
I love to see that you’re not holding back. I feel a lot of mods are a bit too vanilla friendly. Great work.
I think that making the waters a little bit darker/murky would really add to the atmosphere
The Abyssal Chasms and the Primordial Caves are my favorite biomes in this mod. This mod is so cool! ❤
The amount of work that is being put in this mod is insane. There's so much content, creativity and stuff like what the actual fuck?!
I really liked this mod, and I don't know how to explain it exactly but this video with this song made me extremely happy
I love the way this video announced the vote
The forlorn hallows and the galactic caverns look amazing
My top 3 caves, which I want to see the most:
3. Dynastic Necropolis (Very Interesting)
2. Forlorn Hollows (This Monster gives me chills)
1. Galactic Caverns (Love space more, than anything in my live lol)
Oo, the Great Oak idea looks really cool! Looking forward to seeing it!
Oh my goodness this is insane! I can’t wait for the vote
This will definitely be the kind of mod that modpackers include in every modpack they make, even if it doesnt fit the modpack theme, just because it's that good.
I love the ocean explorer thing, if there is an alex oceans thing i’m definitely using this to explore the oceans
Your cave vote better be simply deciding what to make first because choosing between all of those AMAZING options hurts my soul
So many wicked concepts at the end i cant choose what ide want to vote for
man it feels like nothings happened but we're so close to the mods release
3:43 cant wait to build the mystery flesh pit national park in minecraft
Add every single mod this dude's ever made and we basically got a triple-A game's worth of highly intricate and polished content, if only my pc was strong enough to handle them all at once I could basically play with only his mods and never get bored, add in mods with compatibility and bam, server's worth of fun
You know it's a good day when Alex uploads a new video!
its amazing that im more hyped by 2 mods, than new game releases
I NEED THIS!! (and create aeronautics)
I really like those ideas a LOT, and itll be awesome if you add them instead of just one, take your time mister alex, you are a legend
