A breathtaking performance - technically brilliant, lyrical where it should be, fiery where it should be, and passionate throughout. I have never heard of this violinist before, but she is stunning! She should have a great career.
Ko-Woon Yang's playing is exceptional. I had to pause this performance a few times due to holding my breath during a number of beautiful sounding passages.
Oh ! how energetic, passionate, beautiful Plaeludium and Allegro it is ! especiially her long bow sound and articulated juicy rhythm through to the end all. When I was 19yrs. I heard Joseph Szigeti's Plaeludium and Allegro, he called for an encore. I was moved sososo much, unforgettable(1952AD)「Said Plaeludium and Allegro, Answered Joseph Szigetti !」 forever for me!!! I love your Plaeludium and Allegro veryveryvery much too thank you so much. your sensitivity is so juicy, amazing!!!
Everyone commenting about it not being good, try to listen to it without looking at her. It’s actually quite moving. She looks robotic, and her style of dress is not really aesthetic but it’s actually quite heartfelt. The audio is screechy on those high G and E but do as I say and tell me if it isn’t actually quite good. (It’s fast ok, but excellent.) happy quarantine from France 🇫🇷 :)
you got to make me feel something real from your heart, otherwise it's just what's on the score....notes..... the Music is in the Musician, not on the score.
When someone performed with so many wrong notes, that's when you'll see a lot of comments like "music is not just about playing every note right". However, playing the right note should be the basic thing when performing, if you can't do the very basic thing right, how can you say you play the music right?
notes on performance.. maybe. dont slow down in section before the cadenza long type part she does better i think than most here but. then start cadenza part fast in tempo. then crescend slightly ish till end of fast.. then next cool chord type part a tempo. then little part. then part after that similar to cool chord like part but comes across bit different play exactly same rythem tempo as cool chord like part".. remember not to play coda too fast.. or little interlude like part at the very beggining of the piece.:)..
Lee Joseph if her korean name is 양고운 then she probably does not use Chinese characters at all for her name, as her first name would be a pure korean name. No need to choose Chinese characters for such names...
@@Bluedog171 3:02 to 3:04 (the sound was blurred by the crossing); 3:14 to 3:16 (the initial double stops were muffled); 4:23 to 4:25 (sounds like a finger slip); 4:44 to 4:47 (extra notes). The overall playing is great, and I wouldn't necessarily classify all of them as her mistakes (could be audio equipment), but listen to the Perlman version and you'll be able to tell the differences.
I'm so proud that she was my teacher about 15 years ago. I remember she was personally as sweet as her performance!

Beautiful recording - her highest notes are brilliant - the attack is right and the "E' above the staff is there...,just singing
I really like this rendition - not so intense and angry sounding as many of the others.

Very strong and bold, note for note.Tone spot-on.The way this piece should be played,in a calming yellow dress!Loved it very much.
Undoubtedly one of the finest performances of this piece I’ve ever heard. Remarkable bow control. Bravo👏👏👏
Really beautiful performance.
There is something extraordinary in her breathtaking performance

She is amazing! The hardest parts for me to play she does so well and fluently, I'm impressed. just one tiny mistake! Very touching performance
Awesome intonation!

Bravo!!!
I’ve only listened to the first few notes so far but it’s amazing
beautiful sound, and mistakes make all the people...never mind..Thank you, you are really good violinist.
yes she's a good violoniste and a beautifull sound..... but it's not a style of pugnani and sometime she has not a good timing
It's excelent I love it
You are really amazing, I love the way you transmit the music, excellent!

Rajiv Malhotra constructive criticism isn’t really bad.

She is korean in the intro there are korean writings and she is Korean herself
+zeroMECH He means the Hanja, korean writing in chinese characters.

Ok I am too ;)
her right hand is so stiff, especially for string crossing but wow she sounds good

gd stuff. but... the piano is too loud..
Really great playing! Is your name
The cords from the first part exactly match with these from the song "I will survive"
Not really

She is not Chinese, she is Korean.
pause at 0:26, weird illusion happens.
Pianist and page turner seem to become one person from this point of angle.
+Paolo Petersen As you mentioned, I checked it now and really interesting. Hahaha
+Lee Joseph yah, like we all need to no da.

Too rush...
the tempo is alright i reckon, but obviously she didn't practise enough..
nice performance - by both - seems a little rude to stand directly in front of the pianist!
That's how it's supposed to be done...
Do you not understand what an accompanist does? It’s a violin solo with a piano accompanist, not a duet
Did they srslly spell Paganini as Puguani?
Clover Gaming two different people lmao.
Yea, they’re two different people. (Sorry if I come off as rude, it’s not intentional.)
there are sooo many technical mistakes...this piece isn't even that hard. musically, not impressive either
Sorry but I don’t like her interpretation and such low tone
