With five of the 15 new ACS-64 locomotives ordered by SEPTA on the property and crew training soon to begin, it is only a matter of time before the last seven AEM-7 (and lone ALP-44) locomotives remaining in service roll their last miles.
This is a short sample from what will be a short video farewell to the last of these locomotives in operation.
Trains are seen at North Broad, Bryn Mawr, and University City stations.

Their time is almost up, by December 2018 the last of the AEM-7s will be making their last revenue runs and get scrapped. We will miss them in our rush hour in Philly, their beatboxing, their K5LA, and the set of coaches that follow behind it. Goodbye AEM-7 Legacy 1978-2019
