BEST Alien movie since the first two.
Dora the Explorer had a really weird 2024. She was rescued by a lady whose mother died while she was researching spiders in a rainforest and then she gave birth to an alien hybrid egg that was originally her cousin's baby. Let's hope The Last of Us and Superman is less strange for her. 😂

No - it is not. It is a redundant movie with no own signature topic like the 4 older movies.
But it tries to catch up a new generation that hasn't seen the older, more intelligent (and better) movies yet - but hopefully these 4 movies will now get more views again, thx to Romulus.

Honestly, i understand why the ending might put some people off....but i didn't mind it. It definitely didn't kill the entertainment of the rest of the movie. But that's just me.

It's a bit ironic that our two survivors was the only person who wanted to back out, and her synthetic brother.
The "hybrid" Xenomorph in this film almost feels like a callback to the "Prometheus" movies, considering it's when we first see a fleshed-out look at the creators of life known as "the Engineers".
I absolutely loved this movie. The pacing the story, and I loved we got to learn more facts about the face huggers
The pacing and story were SO good and not rushed like simple, some people want a better life, steal content from a orbitating ship and end up facing consequences

I love Andy and Rain's relationship here. Andy, despite being an android, deeply cares for his sister and protects her from harm. Rain doesn't care if he's different to her friends and willingly takes Andy with her to Yvaga.
Hopefully, the story continues with the two, with Andy always remaining on Rain's side

NGL, the chestburster scene was kinda underwhelming in this movie. Still had some cool kills and practical effects, though!
I think the hybrid had missed potential of developing as a person with alien features instead of an alien features, but I’m guessing it’d be more unoriginal since we have stuff like The Thing that exist already

Newborn was born a full fledge queen gaining womb sac without enough host (which she do actually)
While newborn of romulus is of a baby that is probably 5 or 6 month form & gain xeno growth hormone from her mom
The question probably why the mom didn't explode/transforming 1st while the baby would only take residuals

Do Attack on Titan Season 2 (2017) Carnage Count
They made a terrible mistake with this movie by not having the Big Chap as the final villain.
It being alive but in stasis, and their waking it up by accident as they fled during the final act would've been great.
It also would've been a great contrast to see the difference between the "artificial" xenomorphs produced by WY and the natural one in their behaviours -- like, the Artificials would've been aggressive and more animalistic, but the Big Chap instead does what it did in the original Alien: Stalk them, ambush them, and turn the last segment into a horror than an action film.

Now that's gore
Not a perfect movie, but I liked it more than the Prometheus trilogy.
Pro: Self contained, no sequel baiting, doesn't blatantly contradict the lore, impressive sound design and cinematography.
Cons: basic plot of a slasher, it pays so much homage to the original movies that it loses its own identity, characterization non-existent and literally limited to an ensemble scene where everyone explains their reasons, and that's it.
Reminds me of Alien franchise.

I think it drinks blood which fuels it's growth/evolution as it's tail was growing while it drank her blood.

Lo más probable, es que la película se retrasé otra vez hasta 2026 (Quizas), debido a que en esos meses se estrenará la película bipoic de Michael Jackson (Llegará en octubre del 2025), y al ser ambas película de Lionsgate, quizas y la empresa quiera atrasar una y poner en esa fecha otra película, tal cual hizo Disney con la película de Blade, que la reemplazó con una de Depredador que llegará en noviembre de 2025.

I watched the Alien movie from 1979 , like a Thousand times , and it had only 5 deaths .
This new one has dozens of deaths , and I only saw clips on youtube .... once ....

I thought I had fond memories of the 4th one, but rewatched them all before Romulus, and my goodness Resurrections was bad, far worse than I remembered. I share your opinion now

I cannot even express how much I hated this movie. Absolute nostalgia baiting garbage.
The more I think about it the less I like it. It's the Force Awakens of the Alien franchise
@@CarnageCounts They made a mistake by not having the Big Chap as the final villain, and defeating it would've been the best send off for the "character".
Like, it could've been in stasis or in its cocoon all the movie until the end, where the main characters trying to escape roused it from its slumber.
While the Artificial Xenos were more animalistic and aggressive, or just aggressive in the vein the Xenomorphs were in Aliens with a whole hive backing them up, the Big Chap could've done a one-eighty and acted how it did in the original Alien -- Stalk, hunt, ambush, like silently grabbing someone at the back of the group, from a hole in the wall or the ceiling. as they pass by.
The tone of the last part of the movie would've then become survival horror than action horror as they basically mimic the last segment of Alien: Ripley getting the coolant and trying to get out of dodge, these guys doing the same.
But, nope. Instead we got more of the Black Goo shxt. sigh
Never stop making these.
