The irony of the rule of two is the fact that it is always broken. Every Sith apprentice has their own apprentice who will fill their spot when they inevitably kill their master. Technically maul broke the rule because Palpatine was still serving under plageous during episode one. As we know, Palpatine would go on to kill his master however, the inquisitors are not trained in the true Sith tradition, and therefore would not break the rule of two as they are just head hunters as mentioned in the video.
But the Inquisitors follow the sith religion, many having sith eyes, like saying during the Spanish inquisition "Inquisitors aren't Priest" that might be true but they follow the same religion.
7:57 Maul used to be a sith and was trained to be a sith. Inquisitors couldnt even stack up against them. Why? Because they were not trained properly in the ways of a sith. Funny how that works.
In my opinion Sidious broke the rule of 2 with Maul when he was an apprentice to Plaugus. So in my opinion Sidious just never cared about the rule. Ashoka is a grey Jedi who follows neither the way of the Jedi and sith. The little hit of the google point had me dead 💀
2:27 Ventress, was approved by Palpatine. Due to the rule of two and the Jedi knowing of it Dooku being the Face of the darkside to the jedi was important to Palpatines plan Asajj's purpose was to make the jedi think "oh Dooku and Asajj are the two jedi" that way that question would be answered.
5:30 not once have they been referred to ask apprentices. For a good reason. By your logic here tomato's and cucumbers are vegetables because they're used in a salad and taste good with ranch. No they're both fruits, look it up, yes there are plenty they have in common but at their core they are different much like imperial inquisitors and follows or the sith religion.
If anyone of them defeated Darth Vader, then they would have immediately have become Sideous next Apprentice, sith have always been known to have "back up apprentices" that's what maul was that's what Ventriss was and that's literally how Anakin became his apprentice.
8:38 Dooku became Palpatines apprentice after Maul was thought to be dead after the events of Phantom Menace. Dooku was brought in to replace Darth Maul but only until Palpatine could turn Anikan. Palpatine used Dooku as a place holder during the clone wars. Dooku also had no intention of actually becoming a true sith its why his eyes never turned yellow.
5:06 yes Vader does teach the inquisitor. However he only teaches them to hunt jedi and to embrace the darkside, to act on selfishness. Vader does this to make them more aggressive in combat. He does not teach them how to use the power that comes with using the darkside.
7:27 the only reason they listed to the empire is because of they don't they will also be hunted down by the empire. Not to become sith lords, not to get further training in the darkside, not to take Vader's place one day, not to be Vader's right hand, no. They do it to stay alive. Sith weild the darkside to gain power so they cant be controlled by anything, Inquisitors do it so Vader doesnt kill them.
They aren’t true sith. They pawns that are so power hungry they we’ll do whatever Vader says for a chance to be an actual sith. Dooku, Sidious, and Vader make all of these promises to lure them to create servants, but they don’t actually respect them or teach them the ways of the sith.
9:09 lets dumb it down. Why arent they could sith Inquisitors or sith acolytes like they wouldve been called before to rule of two? Because they're not sith theyre called Imperial Inquisitors.
This is the thing, palpatine never cared, he was completely driven by power, greed, and chasing immortality, he would replace his apprentices forever as long as he ruled. The inquisitors and ventress were simply pawns he used for his own gain.
I damn near had an aneurism listening to this. To break things down to those unaware > The Sith Order much like the Jedi Order are force worshipping institutions with their own distinct philosophies, rituals, customs, and history. To truly become adherents to either order means that prospects have undergone extensive training and indoctrination into all the customs and philosophies embodied by both organizations. > The rule of 2 was a set of guidelines imposed upon the entirety of the Sith Order by Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Bane. It's aim was cut down on the Sith Order's self destructive proclivity for infighting in order to finally achieve the elimination of the Jedi Order and dominion of the galaxy for the Sith Order. The rule of 2 stipulates the existence of only two true sith at any given time, a Sith Master to embody the power of the sith and a apprentice to crave that power. The mantle of master may only be claimed by the apprentice after the death of the previous master. > An Imperial Inquisitor is not a sith, they are indeed trained in the darkside by the lord's of the sith (Namely Darth Vader), however their training is specifically geared towards cultivating their connection to the darkside up to a certain point were they can effectively use the darkside of the force to hunt down and kill Jedi. Unlike Sith Apprentices however they aren't given access to the secrets, customs, rituals, and knowledge inherent to the sith order. > The Inquisitorius itself is a recognized special operations branch within the Imperial Military unlike the Sith Order which is simply a religious organization. > As for why Palpatine used former Jedi to hunt Jedi. Well their are many reasons; 1) they are already versed in the usage of the force, 2) they are already familiar with lightsaber combat, 3) they are familiar with the Jedi way of thinking which is invaluable in predicting the actions or potential actions of surviving Jedi and 4) A major reduction in the time spent training up newly inducted members of the Inquisitorius.
Plagueis and sideous were going to get rid of the rule of two and try to live forever as 2 equal masters in the dark side but sideous killed his master in his sleep and continued the rule of 2 with darth Vader, employing fallen Jedi to do his dirty work, never once training them as sith
The inquisitors were only ever trained by Vader, Vader, a Padawan, not a master he literally has a master and what Rob said was you need to be trained by a Sith master so if you’re trained by the Sith Padawan then you’re not a Sith
Literally the sith is a religion that one follows and learns all its teachings such as force lightning something we have only ever seen sidious and dooku use because dooku (sith apprentice) was trained by sidious(Sith Lord) because they will only bestow that knowledge to someone they deem a sith, it’s not like they’re picking them up from a roster and saying “this is our sith order” they recruited fallen Jedi who turned away from the light and seek vengeance on the order they felt abandoned and betrayed them yes they have dark side thoughts and use their abilities in the name of the dark side of the force but they are not and will never be considered sith
They aren’t true sith BUT they are drawing on the power of the dark side. The whole point of the rule is to create two incredibly powerful dark side users that balance out the overwhelming power of all the light side users. So having more dark side users violates the main goal of the rule of two. So it is kinda dumb to have inquisitors running around as that results in Vader and palps being less powerful
Inquisitors are a hard thing to debate on. I can definitely see both sides (especially because I don’t really fully understand inquisitors. BUT I personally feel that inquisitors were made by Star Wars creators that straight up forgot the rule of 2. I do think that they are technically sith (maybe not Sith Lords) but they just dgaf about the rules. Also Ventress I’m pretty sure was gona still be apart of the rule of 2 (dooku plan for palpatine to die, him and Ventress the next siths) but that still leaves Grevious in the picture since Dooku has referenced him as his apprentice. I know he’s not a force user but does he not apply because of that?
1) The rule of 2 is stupid 2) the rule of 2 is built on a stupid technicality 3) grey Jedi existing shows there’s a middle ground between Jedi and sith. Inquisitors likely lay in this middle ground. It’s like a binary system, your assigned value could be 1.0 (Jedi) or -1.0 (sith). If you lay between 0.99 and -0.99 you’re neither sith nor Jedi, but you are LEANING one direction yes? Unless your value is literally 0.00
Simple question, if they're just "bounty hunters" then what would happen if vader died?..... obviously one of the inquisitors would be picked next not some random goofball Sideous doesn't know about
it was only created to continue the sith into the future. it was a way of preservation created by Bane i think. he recognized that the sith failed time and time again.

Sith is a religion, Inquisitor is a job title.
But the Inquisitors follow the sith religion, many having sith eyes, like saying during the Spanish inquisition "Inquisitors aren't Priest" that might be true but they follow the same religion.

Paired with this once Palpatines thought of her as someone becoming strong he commanded dooku to kill her and dooku did his best.
I gotta agree with all of these points - get this kid on a debate
5:30 not once have they been referred to ask apprentices. For a good reason. By your logic here tomato's and cucumbers are vegetables because they're used in a salad and taste good with ranch. No they're both fruits, look it up, yes there are plenty they have in common but at their core they are different much like imperial inquisitors and follows or the sith religion.
6:36 at what point do any of the Inquisitors get looked at as if they could ever take the mantle of Dark Lord?
If anyone of them defeated Darth Vader, then they would have immediately have become Sideous next Apprentice, sith have always been known to have "back up apprentices" that's what maul was that's what Ventriss was and that's literally how Anakin became his apprentice.
@@Kingkarl-365inquisitors killing darth Vader might actually be physically impossible 😂
5:36 Maul is a dark side force weilder yet by the time of rebels he refuses to claim he is a Sith. That's why he dropped Darth from his name.
5:06 yes Vader does teach the inquisitor. However he only teaches them to hunt jedi and to embrace the darkside, to act on selfishness. Vader does this to make them more aggressive in combat. He does not teach them how to use the power that comes with using the darkside.

6:05 one can be trained how to fight but that doesnt mean they're a boxer if they learned karate.

bro stfu you are 80% of these comments
8:46 that is the logic you're using for Inquisitors however you know how stupid that logic works in reverse so you wont admit its the same.
Stones point about Ahsoka can pretty much end the whole debate. At a super base level you have Jedi, Grey Jedi, Dark Jedi, and Sith.
This is the thing, palpatine never cared, he was completely driven by power, greed, and chasing immortality, he would replace his apprentices forever as long as he ruled. The inquisitors and ventress were simply pawns he used for his own gain.

they're useful toys. You've got to have weapons to throw against your master and whetstones to hone your apprentice
Plagueis and sideous were going to get rid of the rule of two and try to live forever as 2 equal masters in the dark side but sideous killed his master in his sleep and continued the rule of 2 with darth Vader, employing fallen Jedi to do his dirty work, never once training them as sith

I think I helped myself make a realization that Dooku was training Ventress and Grevious to be the next Sith Lords under the Rule of two
woah.... rob.....

I would say savage did break the rule of the sith because it’s why sidious went to go kill him and challenge maul because he broke the rule
Count dooku and assaj ventress broke the rule of 2
Whether They're sith or not, it doesn't break canon. It just demonstrates sith hypocracy.
If I’m a priest does that make me the pope?
Matt is right
Simple question, if they're just "bounty hunters" then what would happen if vader died?..... obviously one of the inquisitors would be picked next not some random goofball Sideous doesn't know about
Matt and Robbie are wrong and dumb
Rule of 2 is for Sith. Inquisitors r just dark side force users
I’ve always thought the rule of two was pretty dumb. And hinders the siths potential
it was only created to continue the sith into the future. it was a way of preservation created by Bane i think. he recognized that the sith failed time and time again.
