Did u sell the BMW?
Can you help answer a few questions for me?
Friend of mine recommended me wash my ceramic coated (Adams graphene) Audi with Carpro reset and then another friend of mine said not to use reset as it’s too harsh. Who is correct here?
Also I have the carpro reload as well and trying to figure out when is best to apply this or if I even need it. (I purchased reload and reset as recommended by a friend to have on hand to wash my Audi when I get it back from ceramic coating)
Love the content.
@@KnightRider82 I get a brand new car every three years. :)

I agree. I don’t know were I’ll go from here.

Can’t thank you enough for what I have learnt from you the best detailing Chanel on RUclips by far only down side is every time I watch I end up buying 👍✅
Thanks Steven! I appreciate the kind words.

@@hmmpppsaywhat7878 if I stopped buying all the cleaning products maybe 🤔 if not the RS is good enough for me ✅
The diversity of products on this channel are fantastic Pan. Thank you for highlighting the importance of restoring paint protection because there are some out there that want to blame coating failure when all they need is a proper cleaning. So glad you finally got a chance to try out Dream Maker. The gloss was insane on my red paint when Matt came into town a few weeks ago!
Thanks! I have been using Dream Maker pretty much since it was released. ;)
it's amazing that you managed to keep the enthusiasm about content creating for so many years in a row ...
I appreciate that! I have been detailing for 25 years now, and it's still my biggest passion in life. The reason I started my channel was not only to share my knowledge, but also my passion with my viewers and hopefully give everyone the detailing bug! :)
WOW! Looks amazing! Another great vid PAN! Great display of products and explanation of what they do. Live your vids, sir!
Thanks! I appreciate it!
❤❤❤ Awesome as always. 😊
Thanks again!
Excellent video Pan! I really enjoyed the process and you are very thorough which is great and then you explain how everything works. This really made the coating look just like day one that insane sheeting and the beads for days. And it brought back that mirror finish! Excellent job all the way around and I always learn something new. Thank you Pan and I hope you enjoy the spring driving
Glad you enjoyed it! Have a great weekend Sam! Did you do the spring maintenance of your ride?
@@PanTheOrganizer I have not yet been able to do the spring cleaning just yet. In ohio the weather changes extremely rapidly but it looks like this upcoming weekend looks to be promising. I've been maintaining mostly with n914 but having this break in the weather should allow me to fully spring clean. I am noticing some masking of the coating like you said but this should help tremendously
👍🏻
Just a gorgeous 911, great job Pan 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻

I did use the information here along with the Apex Metal Oxide 1 Year update. The coating used on my Chevy 2500HD is GlassParency Graphene. The foam steps were Bilt Hamner auto foam, then CarpPro Descale foam then Descale in the contact wash with great results. 100% DI water for mixing and rinses. Finally Optimum products for tire cleaning and dressing - I get great results with the Optimum line - typically clean the tires 3 to 4 times though. My detailing arsenal is 'Pan Approved' lol. Thanks for the great work and the insights to great products and techniques.
Thanks for sharing Guy! And thanks for the trust you place in my videos and information.

Thank you! Cheers! What's your favourite spring maintenance routine? What products do you like using to refresh coatings?
@@PanTheOrganizer Pan, I do a similar spring maintenance as you do, especially aware of corners and crevices that could have various undesirable build ups. Ceramic maintenance I have been steering towards Phoenix EOD Titan or Griots Garage Wash & Coat. Others as well, but both of those have been giving fantastic results!
Titan is a great product!!
Spectacular Pan.
Thanks Jeff!
Great video. Like the way you talk us through the process as you go. I just did my first paint enhancement on our 4 year old Honda van. I followed a lot of your previous videos and the van looks better than when we bought it. I now have friends willing to pay to have their vehicles done. Thanks
That is awesome! Hope you had a great weekend so far Steve! What products did you use for the paint enhancement?
@@PanTheOrganizer I used both 3 d one and turtle wax pro 1 & done. I used various pads on some finicky areas. I took paint depth measurements before and after and only took minimal off. I used the turtle wax to the max wax ( graphene). My next step will be a graphene ceramic coating on my work truck. I find paint correction so relaxing and satisfying. Thanks once again for all your videos.
You can do it!
Great video Pan, always nice to see you cleaning that beast and it looks insane..amazing stuff👌💣💥

That is a beautiful color and obviously extremely well maintained.

I subscribed to your channel quite some time ago and greatly value your episodes. I wanted to convey a situation that leaves me scratching my head.
My car Is new three months old and driven very little. I immediately upon car delivery of the car properly applied Adams advanced graphene/ceramic coating.
I recently had to have some work done on my car. Unfortunately it sat in there parking lot for days. I found myself with water spots when I picked it up.
The process I used to get rid of the water spots was to was to, spray it with McKees N914, then rinse the car, then use foam cannon and then I washed the car. I definitely felt like after the wash the car was very clean. I then used a chemical guys water spot remover. The purpose of this comment was some information that you might find interesting. The pad that I used in the application of the water spot remover when finished was very dirty. I am baffled as to why what I thought was a very clean car, why I would have so much discoloration on the pad. I welcome your thoughts.
Yes there is often lots of embedded contamination in the clear coat that the naked eye can’t see. So even after a regular wash, the car might appear clean but in reality still has contamination, hence the chemicals used for decontaminating the surface.

Great video! The car looks fantastic 👏!
Thanks!!
Nicely done as always. I followed all your tips and products when I started cleaning my 2020 C8 and now with my 2022 911 Turbo. Thanks !
Congrats on the new Turbo!!!! 😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. What would you say are a few of the biggest differences between your C8 and the 911 Turbo other than the Turbo having much quicker real world acceleration?
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks Pan ! You Rock ! Great Queston. So many things. Both are engineering refinement to the nth degree, The non turbo means a lot ! Also the C8 DCT engages right away. I can tap the 911 gas peddle and make it rev without moving. The 911 is a better build but the C8 is multiples a better bang for your buck. I'm keeping my 911. Had it PPF. Glad I did the windshield also bc it already took many hits along with the read quarter panel. The C8 has a much better android integration by far. C8 and 911 handle like on magnetic rails. I like the ergonomics of the C8 better including the square steering wheel. I'm just not a corvette guy always had imports...
Q - How can you make the brakes stop squeaking when braking from 20 mph to a stop. Had that with both cars, They say it is a part of owning large brakes. Mine are non ceramic
Yeah there’s nothing you can do about break squeeking on high performance brakes unfortunately.
I’m lucky that my carbon ceramics don’t squeak and don’t produce brake dust. :) Oh and those massive ten piston calipers are insane! 😁
@@PanTheOrganizer I passed on the ceramic brakes (10K + paint blk) bc I am not going to overheat them but big brakes do make a lot dust and it does not want to rinse off with a power washer for a shine.
Mom say's the more you have the more you have to worry about. LOL HMD
Q -You get no brake dust at all ?
Have to say... stunning car.. especially in this colour and with these alloys... not too agressive but still is.. while at the same time very classy.. love it!
Couldn't agree more!
How did I miss this one lol perfect timing 👌
Answered all my questions
Awesome! Great to hear Craig. So you'll be doing a spring maintenance wash soon I assume on your car?
I love how you can get a vehicle looking better than when it’s in a dealership showroom!
Hehe totally!! It looks sooooo much better then when I took delivery.
When my sales rep saw the video of the detailing steps we performed on it, he was like 😱😱😱
Great video Pan!!!
Short video but with good content I like this way
It's better to see little and want to see more than tired of seeing so much... it's my opinion stay on this way
Another great video Pan! , the Porsche looks as good if not better than the day you got it 🤤🤤
You got that right!
Thx for the video. Would have been great to see the water behaviour before applying all these products on the panels.
Just did my 1st wash I have PPF and ceramic pro … it looks good !! I use the ceramic detailer at thee end and it looks killer gloss !!!! It’s the best top coat ever !!!
What ceramic detailer are you referring to?
@@PanTheOrganizer oops 😬 sorry the meguirs ceramic detailer .. I also used the geon wetcoat as well what’s your favorite ??

Another educational video. It's great that You DRIVE Your Car! It's a car! It's meant to be driven. The hydrophobics on that coating are insane! Even before You did the decontamination process, it looked good! I've never gotten crazy with My wheels. I used csl back in October 2020. So far, so good. I'll try some of that wet coat. Thanks for another great video, Pan. It's a washout weekend here in CT, so no car washing. Have a good weekend.
Exactly! Cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed. :)
@@PanTheOrganizer That's why My Vette has 112,000 miles on it(I bought it with 812 in August of 2005). If we had weather in Connecticut like they do in Los Angeles, it would ave 200,000 miles :)

Extremely well-presented and informative video! I’ll be entering the world of Porsche and want to ceramic coat the surfaces to protect the paint. I like this video’s focus on rejuvenating after a Montreal winter. They’re just the saltiest and messiest and borderline depressing to experience lol. Well done, Pan! Would love to have you detail my car post-delivery next Summer. 🎉
Thanks Natalie! Which Porsche are you getting? It will be a life changing moment for sure!
Hoping to lock in my build soon on a 2023 Macan GTS… in Jet Black metallic. Am I crazy for going with this colour!? My other choice was Volcano Grey. Both exterior paints would be paired with the stunning Bordeaux Red leather (not extended) interior.
Descale is a really good product i only needed to snowfoam and it removed these light waterspots that was on there. Amazing video Pan, doing everything by the book in my perspective! 💙
Thanks Lapponian!
Hi pan great detailing and the way to go about it, it seems to do the job really well. Fantastic demo on the application of the products used. The car ain't so bad either......
Hehe thanks Alan!
Its about that time for sure my bru!
😁😁😁
@@PanTheOrganizer hope things are dope up North bru.
Awesome work Pan as the Porsche looks super glossy and reflective. I do like the idea of attacking both ends of the ph scale in the spring. One surprise for me was how sweet descale is to use in the wash bucket after foaming. There was more lubricity than expected and it completely removed a spray on sealant. I appreciate the honest feedback on the tire coating and I think I will purchase this tire coating to make rinseless washes easier. Finally I was really surprised to see the hydrophobic behavior on the windows. The coating you used is holding up very well. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for the feedback Neil. Yeah that coatings is blowing my mind on all surfaces.
Nice job Pan beautiful car love the colour

I would Love to visit that Beautiful City of Montreal someday, anyway Big Fan from Louisiana. USA. 👍
Thanks Les! The name of the color is "Aventurine green".
Excellent video sir! Watched it about 3 times and learned something new each time.
I was curious if the Bilt Hamber and Descale can be used in a pressure sprayer, as I unfortunately don’t have access to a proper pressure washer setup at the moment. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated : )
Yes you can use them in a foaming pump sprayer.
Spend like 5 hours in total on my spring detailing on my stinger, and my wife sorento. I use chemical guys products. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
😁👍🏻
@@PanTheOrganizer what do you think about chemical guys clean slate? Will it preform the same as the bilt hamber? My stinger has ceramic on it.
Clean Slate is more a shampoo for the buckets. Like all stripping shampoos, it can only help to start breaking down older waxes and sealants but the shampoos alone aren’t enough to fully remove previous protections.
Mechanical abrasion through machine polishing is the only way to ensure 100% removal of protection, especially ceramic coatings.
Also, Bilt Hamber is actually made to help clean the surface. Very different application compared to Clean Slate. Clean Slate is a stripping shampoo. Not a pre-wash snow foam.
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks for your answer. I'm looking to decontaminat the surface just like you did because my ceramic is not biding the water as good. I'll try to order the bilt hamber. They don't sell them in Amazon 😕
Hell yeah! Finally the first one here!!
😄👋👍🏆🏆🏆🏁🏁🏁
I was on the French version
Pan I just have to say I love your 992, the color is amazing and my God the G L O S S 🔥🔥
Thanks man!! It's "Aventurine green" and everyone that sees my car says how unique and nice and classy it looks. :)
I have a bottle of CarPro’s Descale added to my supplies. Looking forward to using it. Part of my research indicated the Descale adds in the removal of any remaining finishes, ie carnauba wax and sealants, as well as any fallout. And your car looks spectacular. Nice video.
Your research is correct. It's mainly used to descale paintwork (remove mineral buildup and water spots) but can also help to start the breaking down process of older waxes and sealants. It won't hurt silica sealants like ceramic coatings or silica spray sealants like CarPro HydrO2 or Gyeon WetCoat.
I can only imagine walking into your own home garage and seeing your dream car every day 😭 one day I’ll get my 911 GT3RS lol
Hard work pays off. Keep your dreams alive and I hope you will get to enjoy your dream car too! 😁👍🏻
Great video! BTW how to remove swirl marks on ceramic coated car without harming the ceramic coating? Thanks.
There aren't many options to do that unfortunately. But there is one special polish meant to correct minor swirls and defects on a coating, this one: bit.ly/3u5AIp0
Stunning 👍
Thanks Kunal

Excellent tutorial pan, and yes Spring has finally sprung here in Canada. 🇨🇦 Porsche is looking amazing. I have a question for you, how would you compare p&s dream maker to xtreme solutions topper in terms of pure gloss? Tks John.
Dream Maker takes the win for gloss. It only lasts about a week, or up to your next wash though.
Hello Pan. Thank you for the great content. I really appreciate it. I feel like I have gone from having a general idea to realizing I knew so little. I did have a question if you have the time to answer. I am a fan of Chemical Guys Hydro Speed. I use it as a quick drying agent for my all my vehicles. Both cars have a ceramic coating so a weekly wash with this in the end seems to keep it buttery smooth and maintained.

You can do it!! What temperatures are you having right now in Finland by the way?
At the moment around 10 degrees celcius😬, colder than typically this time of year over here in Finland. Thankfully I have a garage with heating at my disposal, so my car is safe from the elements🙏🏻. Unfortunately it's raining as we speak, but the weather is getting warmer in the next couple of weeks and the rain is also luckily giving in🙏🏻. How is the weather in Montreal by the way? Although you have an incredible garage where you can detail cars whatever the weather🤤
It’s 18C now during the day, but it was near freezing at night. Thank god for my garage! :)
@@PanTheOrganizer Much warmer than here, but thankfully summer is coming☀️
Have you ever considered a lift of some sorts. To take the wheels off. Or wash the car a little higher off the ground.
Despite it being a fairly big garage (24x24 or almost 600 sq.ft) I wouldn't really have the place for it, as I park two cars there, and the floors are slightly sloped towards the two drains (for obvious reasons) so it's not a perfectly flat floor.
@@PanTheOrganizer have you ever heard of quick jacks?
Yes
Thank you for the video! I have had issues in the past applying Gyeon Wetcoat to the wheels and then applying a water based tire dressing like VRP. It seems like this would be an issue but I haven’t seen it mentioned yet.
I never had issues.
I'm thinking that my Gyeon Pure EVO coating is gone on my rear bumper/back of trunk. Water is very flat but it has only been about 8 months. I just pre soaked with Gyeon Foam hand washed with Gyeon Restart Wash but it is still flat. Probably going to try Carpro Reset but I'm worried. Would be very disappointed since it is garage kept and hardly even driven in the rain, never driven when salt is on the road.
Love the demo! It really helps!
When you say maintenance is all of this a routine you would use weekly? I assume you have to decide if you need to reapply certain things like tyre sealant. But curious if maintenance products like descale would be used every week (or if it’s safe enough) or more like once in a while. No road salts where I live but the car does sit outside so I do notice slight water spots on my ceramic coating!
This is not a weekly maintenance regimen! Hence why the title is "SPRING MAINTENANCE". These are pretty strong chemicals and you only really need to use them once every other month, or perhaps once per season if you take good care of your car. For regular weekly washes, a pH neutral snow foam and pH neutral soap is all you need.
Descale is only to be used "as needed", meaning when you have mineral deposit accumulation, or if you wand to strip an older wax. For regular weekly washes, I use CarPro Reset, which is made for regular maintenance.

Pan, your car is gorgeous! You must be as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a rocking chair factory when you drive your car around town! Do you park it away from other cars in the parking lot when you go to a store? Great video as usual!
Thanks! I avoid driving in big cities with it. Never park it in the street. And in parking lots, pick my spot carefully.
Are these products what I could use every single time I wash & detail my car (once a week), or are these products just for something like a quarterly touch up? Awesome content as always, Pan
A quarterly maintenance, or every other month at best.
@PanTheOrganizer Video was 8 months ago, and you still responded. What an awesome guy 👍🏼 appreciate it
My pleasure Nathanuel. I'm the only big detailing channel (with over 850,000 subscribers) that still takes time to personally respond to RUclips comments on a daily basis. I can spend up to 4 hours every day responding to my viewers. It gets overwhelming at times, but it keeps me connected with you guys, and I think it's appreciated.
How did you discover my channel by the way?
Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on RUclips as we surpassed 850,000 subscribers and 106 million views! I have been detailing for 25 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.
You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
Once I picked up my new car a month ago, I searched for detailing tips and found your channel. Haven't looked at another channel since
Spring video is here, thanks @Pan!
Though in the step process, where would you recommend the Iron remover to be done (for us regular brake guys) ? 😂
Like I said towards the end of the video, you would do the iron removal step after all the washing steps. You pre-wash, wash, iron remover. :)
Great video as always Pan 😁😁 I love your Porsche 😍 I’m in need of your great advice or if any other of my fellow Pan followers can also help? My partner complains how long it takes to clean my car 🙄 even though she must think the car cleaning fairy comes and cleans her car also ( yes that’s why it takes so long because I clean both cars not just my own ) so the advice I need is should I use gorilla tape or Will normal gaffa tape be sufficient to gag her ???
Ahahahah she should be grateful that she drived a clean car. My girlfriend is very appreciative of all the time I spend keeping her car clean. It’s lots of back breaking work and sweat to get cars to the level I want. So even if I disappear in the garage for 12 hours she never complains.
She loves cooking so I don’t complain when she spends the afternoon in the kitchen cooking us awesome meals. I’m very appreciative of that.
Each person in a relationship needs to be able to enjoy and live their passions to their fullest in my opinion.
Hey Pan. I just purchased the Car Pro Reset. How much Reset OZ to Water ML in the foam cannon ? Also can I use this for every wash ?
Just interested as to why you didnt use Carpro Reset for the contact wash rather than the Descale?
I will use Reset for the weekly washes. But as this is a special once every other season deeper clean, I like having Descale on the acidic side to further help unclog the coating, remove any minerals that perhaps might be on the surface, etc.
Thanks for this new video ! How so you wash a window which is ceramic protected ? Can Clarify damage the coating ?
Same way as you would for an unprotected window. Same products. Automotive glass cleaners like Clarify will not damage the coating.
Hi @PanTheOrganizer super helpful and easy to understand video! I have a question, the "Bilt Hamber auto-foam" concentrate has a PH of 13 "straight from the bottle" and You use 5% Panel Impact Ratio solution - what approximate PH might it have? Just in approximation or what level would you not want to pass?
Do you think that using regular foam around PH of 9 with ceramic coating can be harmful in long term? Best Regards
You'd have to ask Pete Hamber, the chemist over at Bilt Hamber to see what the pH would be at a given PIR.
For regular weekly washes, all you need is a pH neutral snow foam. Or if you want to use the Bilt Hamber, just use a lower PIR like 2% for your regular weekly washes. Pete says it's safe on coated cars at that PIR.
Great video, I have a coated car which I will try the reset. Would you use the same wash protocols on a car with a full PPF or would you treat it differently? Perhaps a video on cleaning a car with PPF? I do find contaminates embed themselves in the film which gives me peace of mind that the film has protected the paint, but at the same time it is frustrating cleaning a PPF car as the surface is hard to get smooth because of these contaminants
The same methods and procedures apply for a car covered in PPF. Ideally, you would have a ceramic coating on top of the PPF for the best of both worlds. I made a tutorial on that here: ruclips.net/video/7RCgqdGrvrA/видео.html
Love it, thank you! So I have satin black powder coated wheels which suffer from a lot of brake dust (carbotech pads). I have had them ceramic coated. What should I use to clean them and seal them without wrecking the satin powdercoat? Thanks!
For satin and matte surfaces, see my video here: ruclips.net/video/5RocSxJQmzI/видео.html
Thank you, a scholar and a gentleman
Thanks Ben.
