Another terrible crowd for Western United today only 1.5k. The FFA need to admit they made an error and let South Melbourne in. South clearly have more fans than Western United do.
Don't blame the crowd. They probably stayed away because they thought Dictator Dan would call a snap lockout and they would be stuck at the match for 5 days!!!
@@TheCanuck66 Western United's crowds were terrible in Season One, and have been even worse in Season Two. South Melbourne would get bigger crowds than what WU are getting.
@@jeffbiden4135 The terrible crowd of ONLY 1,500 had nothing to do with COVID. The match was not sold out, The Victory VS Roar had a crowd of 9k ONLY a month ago and that was during COVID. South Melbourne would get more than 1,500.
@@banliveexport325 Hang on a second mate, this is in Ballarat, not in Melbourne. Ballarat has over 40X less people than Melbourne, so if we were to assume that Ballarat were the same size as Melbourne, wouldn't they be getting crowds of 40,000? And, by the way, it is very likely that it is due to the pandemic. In previous games, Ballarat has gotten attendances of nearly 6,000.
Western United are now playing games in Tasmania. This will be Home Stadium Number 5. This team is an absolute joke. They have no fans it makes no difference where they play. Let South Melbourne in.
The license should've gone to South Melbourne in the first place. If they are to add more teams and they are created from the ground up then this League will become a massive Joke. The Old NSL clubs is where they should be looking.
@@Football-lv1mu EXACTLY. The owners of Western United are ONLY in it for the Free Land in Tarneit. When the Club folds they will still own the Free Land. The whole thing is a scam. It's an absolute joke anyway there are a heap of Soccer Grounds in Victoria anyway there is no need for another brand new soccer Stadium in Victoria.
Ok this stadium is in Ballarat and not at lot of fans go to Ballarat to see games cause it’s so far so just stop saying we don’t have any fans for once
I think Ballarat is a massive problem crowd wise, we usually get 4-5k when we play at GMHBA or AAMI. Shouldn’t be playing at Ballarat as obviously it hasn’t worked, should look at playing at Melbourne knights ground or whitten oval
@@jeffbiden4135 Today's game was NOT sold out. Western United have been unable to sell out any of their home matches this year even with Limited Crowds being allowed in. Their Crowds were awful in Season one and have gotten even worse in Season two. Which is normally what happens with new teams their crowds start off well and slowly go downhill just have a look at Western Sydney. South Melbourne clearly have more fans in Victoria than Western United.
