In this quick creation, we are going to show you how you can make easy rava cake/sooji cake/semolina cake in 2 Different Flavors: Chocolate Fudge Cake & Nutty Vanilla Cake in a Microwave in 2 Minutes in a Mug!
The Prep Time for this recipe is 10-12 Minutes and the Cooking Time is 2 Minutes! We loved the Chocolate Fudge Sooji Cake as it was super soft, moist and oozing with chocolate because of the dark chocolate goodness in it! Having said that, the Nutty Vanilla Cake was no less! It was delightful with the Elaichi Flavour popping out! INGREDIENTS:
Sooji/Rava : 1 Cup
Powdered Sugar : 3 Tbsps
Chopped Cashews, Almonds and Pistas (any dry fruits of your choice)
Milk : 1/2 Cup
Plain Yogurt/ Dahi : 2 Tbsps
Flavorless Oil : 2 Tbsps
Vanilla Essence : 1/4 Tsp
Elaichi Powder/ Cardamom Powder : 1/2 Tsp
Cocoa Powder : 1 1/2 Tbsps
Baking Powder : 1 Tsp
Baking Soda : 1/2 Tsp
Chopped Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate chunks (any chocolate of your choice)

Very nice, but can we skip the curd, and add only extra milk?
You can add egg if you eat them.. You can add apple sauce or mashed banana and just add both baking soda and banking powder... For an acidic agent you can add buttermilk instead or lemon juice... But try to add either curd or egg or banana or other substitute to add softness to ur cake
The curd gives soft and fluffy texture to your mug cake in addition to being the acid that activates baking soda. You can replace it with buttermilk, lemon juice, yogurt (an acidic agent). If you don't want to add baking soda, you can skip it altogether but your cake may not rise as much and have a dense texture. Hope that helps!
