the 5/1 raac is super underrated, most people dont even know how good it is i tend to recommend this tank alot when people say they like meds
The thing is there are many meds are better in the same price. Is it a good tank? Yes, absolutely but with the same price range, i would only recommend people with Lis, or Bourrasque without skin. I would only consider 5/1 if it's sold in gold or trade events
also it's about to get buffed

This game is super underrated. The soft stats are INSANE, 0.14 dispersion on both hull and turret traverse

The only real difference between this tank and Strv 81/Primo Victoria is it has more hull armor. Other stats are basicle the same with 230 gun alpha, pen, aimtime, -10 degree dep etc.
So on ridgelines like this map, any of those tanks I mentioned would have worked when you only show your turret but sure, having more full armor (121 insted of 76) but that's it.
Not true bro, primo victoria has slightly better turret armor ( on the sides) but mobility is worse and the dispersion during movement is worse
You're forgetting horsepower. Cent 5/1 is quite fast at getting to it's top speed

I sold my T8 tech tree Centurion and run this one for T8 and upgrading my MT crews.
I have been feeling frustrated by the standard AP rounds on the centurion 5/1 lately, like the rounds seem to gravitate to the ground like a rock being thrown. The standard AP shell velocity of 1020 m/s feels much worse than the Primo Victoria / Strv 81 standard ammo round (its APCR) with shell velocity of 1300 m/s.
Good tank, I wish it was in bond store instead of Strv 81 :/

Underrated thing is its heavy , its 50 tons and you can ram the shit out of paper tanks when you pick uo speed down a hill
Not to mention that it's frontal hull numbers are quite decent, too. There's some of the lighter heavies you can even ram in your own favour
The Aussie, Centurion built in England made to work better In Australia.
Best thing about 5/1 - sticking your butt around corners to bait shots into your hump.

The only ok tier 8 centurion, but then again there are far better medium tanks at tier 8. If you want this kinf of game play renegade is just better in every way that matters.
