I recently visited the graves of my great great grandparents. They were buried in a Catholic cemetery and were Czech. I'm a convert and it was good to see that I had Catholic roots. I'm grateful ❤
Hello Christine! Thank you so much for doing this reading with your viewers! I am enjoying them so much! I’m so grateful to you. Please continue to do more of these readings. What a great way to hear a book (especially such an important one) read out loud like this when otherwise it may not be read at all. God bless you 🙏🏻✨✨✨
yes both my grandparents were cremated and are in a mausoleum in a catholic cementary spending All Souls Day at the cementary visiting them was nice :)
Thank you for posting this. I have been searching for such information for over three years since my Mother passed. I visit her at least three times a week, and I try to take care of all the graces in our area of the cemetery regularly. I do wish there was more I could do by way of understanding how to pray for those who have passed. It's a unique sort of charism, I think. I just appreciate learning what I can about it.

🙏💕 Yes, Dr. Bacon, I am enjoying this captivating book about Maria Simma's encounters with the Holy Souls. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing book with us. I am also extremely grateful to our Holy Spirit Who guided me to your website. A few years ago, I heard of Maria Simma and her mystic experiences, but I forgot about her until a couple of days ago our faithful Fr. Chris Alar mentioned her again in his potent Homily. So far, I have learned so much about the Souls in Purgatory and their many valuable life lessons for us. I will try to always keep them in mind and heart. I will also try to pray for other Souls, besides for my family members, friends, and church leaders' souls. 🙏💕 Dr. Bacon, I love how you are effortlessly reading this book as well as how you read every word carefully. You have a lovely soothing voice, it is motivating to listen to you read more, and of course, I ended up ordering the book. I wish I had bought it sooner, highly recommend it for all ages it will transform your life. 🙏💕
Dr. Bacon, Thank you for your wonderful informative videos! We need more of them, you are doing Our Lords work and the work priest should being doing. We are the Cumberland (Md.) @cumberlandhistoriccemetery9568 wowWhat an important job I would have never thought about! God bless you for the work. You guys are doing for the souls!
Oh my goodness what am I going to do? My mother passed away in 1997 and I went to the burial but I had been living in NYC and working and she was in Puerto Rico. I'm now in Pennsylvania and have been here for 17 years. I haven't been to P.R. since she was buried. How can I help her if I'm here? I am going to try and light 2 candles one for her and one for the Holy Souls.
Tomorrow is what we call our Cemetery Brigade! We all get together and visit relatives in 5 cemetery’s, 16 plus graves. Some are people I’ve never even met! We go Christmas and Easter then we all go to dinner after.
Some cannot afford a funeral period. Not everyone has a spare $15,000+. This is fine for well off people but I assure you poor people use cremation or gift of life because they have no other options available. The two tier system of the US is driving a lot of poor people to choose what they don’t want for nothing other than financial reasons.
I did have to cremate 2 family members for economic reasons. My husband and my brother. A casket funeral costs 15K plus and is just simply unaffordable in today's world. Casket cost, grave plot, vault opening and closing. 15K minimum. Cremation was 1500.
Cemeteries and Catholic schools have this in common. The costs are sinfully high. When I was a girl, the parishioners built the grade schools with their Sunday donations and those schools were for Catholic children. There were no entrance exams. The tuitions were very low, even for the high schools. Now the goal is not so much to educate Catholics, it seems it’s to be recognized as the best schools and therefore charge obscene tuition. A Catholic burial is expensive, more than some can pay. Hence the popularity of the Neptune Society. When the parishes and dioceses stopped providing for and educating Catholics, it wasn’t long before many drifted from the church.
The Church approves of donating one's body to science after death. My Catholic paternal grandparents both did so. They lived into their nineties. It also happens to be an economical alternative.
Question: what do people that have no money for a funeral do? My husband and I are still working (we’re old but I’m too embarrassed to tell you our ages). We will not have enough money for us to live on (which is why we are still working) much less a funeral, plot, burial. I am, and have, worked retail for decades and my husband has been working blue collar since he was 12. He’s paid for all his clothes, haircuts, cars, medical etc since 14. What do we do when we die? We had fill out our gift of life papers because our kids will not have the money to bury us either (nor would we expect them to). What should we do when the first one dies and tell our kids what to do with the second one who dies?
@ we’re in our 70’s. It’s way too expensive. We don’t earn enough money for that! We do have one on each of us for $100,000 but they end at age 80. Looks very much like we’re going to outlive 80.
@Sheila2024-x8w Capital One has a higher interest online savings account. If you can spare even $50/month, each year that goes by would be a little bit towards your burials. When I was singing in NY they told us about a world famous opera singer who died penniless and told us each to take out a $10k life insurance policy just to cover the end of life. But even in the stage you are now, every little bit would help. ❤️
Hi, Christine. I have a question about Divine Mercy Sunday. It’s my understanding according to our priest, they if we do all that is required on Divine Mercy Sunday that our confessed sins are completely erased and therefore we do not have to do reparation for them for this reason. Thanks.
I'm going to be roasted. I cannot fathom, with my earthly claustrophobia, being underground or behind a marble wall. Shoot I don't even want a casket. But I'm also not catholic.
I won't be cremated and be ashes in an urn. People spread ashes and keep the urns on the mantle. No way i will be a speck of dust while women are laughing it's insane come on.
@vivrowe2763 Oh , who is going to do what about speaking the truth. Going to send Joe Bidens KGB FBI in the middle of the night. Or have the bogus ordo bishop or Frankie excommunicate me. Oh they can't as I'm SSPV under my Bishop and in good standing.
I live in Croatia and we truly take great care of graves..now I see that it is crucial to keep that tradition going...thank you for the info.😊

They do not like cremation! There was pressure on The Catholic Church to permit cremation. Food for thought!
The Los Angeles Archdiocese cemetery system is extremely expensive. We're talking $21K. It so ridiculous.

Most people cannot afford to buy a cemetery plot, cremation is a little " cheaper" sad end either way😢

Cremation is forbidden by the Catholic church. The novus ordo a false invalid church allowed for Cremation because novus ordo is pagan .
