I was at this show, the Blue Angels never disappoint. It's crazy how much louder they are in person, camera never does them justice.....Great video, I've heard from other videographers that this show was difficult to film due to where they had center point positioned at.
Yes! I was just telling my mom this! bc I get so use to watching YT videos actually hearing them in person and u hear and feel how much power goes into each maneuver is flabbergasting! And yea it kinda was and I was disappointed with my work in this video because of this simply because they aircraft kept leaving the frame because of how much I had to move my body to reposition around the tripod and attempt to zoom in and out on the aircraft
@@derek777 Exactly. During the Diamond Dirty Loop and the Burner 270, someone 1 foot away from you can be yelling at you, and you can't hear them, it's absolutely insane. It was kind of a strange show. Not only was show center in a weird spot, but their takeoffs and arrival were quite bizarre. I think it had to do with how close the AFB is to Montgomery Regional. I think they did that to stay away from the arrivals at Montgomery. Who knows.
@@masonhenslee5905 she wasn’t yelling at me she was telling everybody else where the jets were. also the mic I have is set up to really only pick up sound from the front ( RODE video mic go). But yes the airports are very close the f35 and P51 did a heritage flight and we heard the f35 take off from Montgomery
@@masonhenslee5905 they did their normal take off procedure vs the demo take off procedure so that was definitely cool to c but when they took off they turned out west and looped around to the east and that’s the opening break u c
@@derek777 😂, I wasn"t talking about the video specifically. I was saying that someone could be standing right next to you and be yelling as loud as they can, and that you wouldn't be able to hear them because of how loud they are.
