When it came to that precision strike being off. It looked like the modifier "orbital scatter" would be the culprit. When I play with orbital scatter, it is never on point to the area I threw it. And it looks exactly like orbital scatter.
Is this in the “Effects” folder or is it somewhere else because I don’t think I’ve noticed it before but I definitely noticed my shots being way off target
@@Lewapolis during a mission pull up your map and it'll tell you what effects are in place above it, pre game it tells you in the effects panel before the mission starts. and when you're choosing your loadout you can just go back to the big map and then pull up effects cause for some reason we don't tell people this up front.
Yeah, I remember someone yelling in game that his orbitals weren’t working, that was he game is broken and don’t use the orbitals, we had that modifier active so I only used eagles and auto turrent

Because they don't always approach you, they sometimes remain out of reach at blindspots. Despite the claims that they reverted the spawning issue, the patrols are literally spawning on top of mointains, hills and other level objects where one cannot see nor shoot them

same, as a bot main, it is really just comes to player does not understand how spawning works even though there many videos and a massive post explaining it. also, 380 enjoyers needs to chill out. 380 will lock a large area out and cause bot reinforcement more often due to how big of an area it cause agro. even more 'fun' when 380 user decided to use it on extraction with a full haul in hand while bots just called in their 2nd reinforcement

With a team of randoms 7 is not super hard but the spawn rates on 9 are awful. One wrong move and you have a whole platoon dropping in. If you take too long to deal with them, more comes
i main both terminids are somwhat easily to kill but when i went into suicide mission for the first time in automaton frontlines. i've got flashbacks of all quiet on the western front
If they bring in X-box, the big power play would be to time, removing the region sold restrictions at the same time and giving us our cape, this could be their "right time" as they had said, for releasing our hard earned review bomb cape

500kg doesn't do a lot against smaller targets, which doesn't make sense. I did hear that it has a blast cone going upwards, ignoring the smaller enemies around it.
I personally don't understand the argument of "The highest difficulty is too difficult." Sure the geometry of bot lasers need to be adressed but other than that, I can't fathom why people feel entitled that the highest difficulty should be easy for them

Not just the bot spawns are insane now. I used to play bugs 7 very casually for 400 hours but since last patch, the spawn rate has been harder than what i remember 9 being like...it feels like the secret 10-11 difficulty. Go play lower difficulty bot/bugs and you will also notice INSANE quantities of patrols. It must be AH testing Helldivers on whether we'd notice... Precision strike has precisely missed consistently lately, must be working as intended lol. I guess the planetary scatter modifier is at work? But it seems like a lot of scatter.
7:33 this is the exact reason i've taken a step back from helldivers. shits messed up, furry's are raging on the discord and the game's mechanic's are not what they should be.... this games good, but could be better. i hate that our primary weapons are INTENDED to not do alot of dmg. any devastator on the bot side won't be addressed properly. bots are not hard their annoying and it's not about successfully completing missions but being ragdolled to death..... i've had my fill for a while. after over 200 hr's into the game and still enjoy it but it's gotten kinda stale for me. can't seem to get a worth a damn AR it's all shotguns and those really should be used for CQC but i feel the meta is fire shotty make'm all holla is the meta. i should be able to use WHATEVA i want and be confident it can complete the mission. but alas it's not.
I feel like the perceived difficulty with automatons is that they're inherently different from terminids. There are a lot more enemies with ranged weapons. They require more caution and you can't just run away from them easily.
The only thing about bots that i hate is the constant ragdolling,ping- ponging and most of times keeping you doing anything at all until you are dead. And these rockets dont even have to hit you to send you flying to mars. I would much prefer rockets doing a bit more dmg and i am being at least able to counteract instead of playing airbourne sim 9/10 times a rocket hits near me
had a 500kg hit a charger in the head and it did not die- that was crazyyyy - the armor did not even break either. after the 380mm / (precision strike got buffed to shoot faster it was just the best - and apparently its the same damage but different AOE blast radius BUT apparently the 500kg does not damage in a wide area only in a tall area MAYBE with some of these explosions - it could have some fair remaining in the blast area since its so hot that it burns the ground? or just properly buff the AOE wideness of the blast to do the correct damage in a wide area. too many times one drops a 500kg and kill like 7 units on screen when there's an army walking towards you.
It would be a good decision to also release it on Xbox I think, as the Xbox demographic plays more shooters than the Playstation one I think. But since Sony planned to make PSN linking mandatory I think this was not the original plan and I doubt Arrowhead has had the time and resources to develop it for Xbox in such short time after Sony dropped that requirement just for this game.. So if it ever happens it will be much later.. About all the other issues with stratagems not doing proper damage and/or not going where aimed etc, I think that has something to do with the networking in this game.. To high latency and/or packetloss in connections between players etc.. One of the reason why I'm still not a fan of peer to peer multiplayer games, but unfortunately that's how most online games work these days.. We can thank the consoles for that I think, as this peer to peer matchmaking nonsense started to gain ground after they went online.. No more picking your own dedicated server to play on from a list, but sessions hosted by players themselves as a listen server connecting thru socalled matchmaking.. Any old PC FPS gamer that played online in the late 90's early 00's knows what I'm talking about I think..
No no, those are the best. The other day we got 3 gunship fabs, and 2 jammers, on Helldiver, with randoms. We did a full map clear and died with the pelican on the ground, but it was one of the funnest missions I’ve done.

Patrols are perfect once a bot drop is called in they send in more and the cooldown between flares has definitely been decreased so once they call in backup it's best to tactically withdraw

What if the 500kg got shrapnel like the eruptor had. Realistically it just needs its splash damage increased but what I think might be happening is its getting a massive damage reduction going through medium and heavy armor
Railcannon has a mind of its own own sometimes. Threw one at two hulks, and it went for a rocket trooper. This happens a lot. Yet sometimes you can just chuck it nowhere near the hulks and it will pick them off. Frustrating.
If you keep up to date on the companion app you can see the resistance going down even if progress isn’t being made. Once we cut off the remaining two planets I wouldn’t be surprised if the resistance goes down a full percent
I did the most part only do helldive ... level 9. Biggest problem I've have is getting swarmed by the gunships. It gets to the point where you can't even move, reload, or even drop in without getting ragged dolled.
I don't think this is a bug, but there is indeed an increase in bot spawns, specifically on the planets that we are trying to take from the M.O. I had been taking some missions at level 3 lately as a way of farming Super Credits and every time I went to a bot planet, I killed an average of 125 to 150 bots a mission (Going solo). In the latest missions, after clearing out the map more bots start appearing from the outskirts of the map, and I once got stuck in a loop trying to finish an Artillery objective to the point I killed around 350. The entire map was already cleared, so there weren't even supposed to be any new patrols coming at the region. That said, that doesn't seem like a bug in itself, but a setting of the planets causing high spawn rates, to make the M.O. harder.
I love bots and we play on 9 all the time. The thing I notice the most with some people is that they fight for a position when they need to move and try to come back later. Not every fight needs to be won and sometimes retreating will be your best friend. I will say that the gunships are very difficult especially with the roving bands of them. Those missions give the most challenge.
Ive made a video and Reddit post (with video evidence) showing how tiny and inconsistent the hitbox for the 500kg actually is. Im glad it's being looked at
Orbital Scatter is still in the game, and it essentially turns the Orbital Precision Strike into one of the most useless stratagems in the game. That's the problem presented at the end of the video.
I've rolled around a corner I seen 20 to 30 low teir bots. One or two grenades can take them out but u can easily get smoke if they get the drop on you
The real issue is the character movement, getting stuck on small rocks and nearly every incline, and automatically jumping over fences to your death in water. Playing co op yesterday on Challenging difficulty, the bot re-spawn rate was worse than a helldive difficulty, which nearly causes rage quitting.
they nerfed or broke the 500 a long time ago. when i first started playing if someone dropped a 500 in a bug breach you could easily get like 30 or more kills. you do that now you get AT most 10 kills and bugs 10 feet away from where the 500 lands don’t even take damage. the blast radius and damage output is messed up somehow. ive seen chargers survive a 500 going off 5 feet away from them. if my memory is right it was around the time they nerfed the railgun is when the 500 went to $hit. for those that don’t remember the 500 use to kill you if you was within 20-30 feet of where it landed. now you can be like 10 feet away and it doesn’t even knock you down.
Helldive difficulty is fine, you just have to play differently. You can't run straight into a fight, you need to choose your battles and stratigize before entering battle.
I run the 500kg on almost every run. It works much like the precision strike in that it only destroys what it lands on. The area of effect got nerfed some time ago. However it does seem to have a wider area of effect on the small bugs.
There's absolutely an alignment issue between where your offensive strat markers land and where it's called down. You can see it best with the precision, but it's the same with the gatling barrage, it's aoe is waaaay off centre of where the marker lands. Harder to tell with the eagle strikes, so I'm not sure if it affects them.
its cause the "orbital scatter" modifier for the mission, it makes all the orbitals have larger spread so essentially it makes the OPS suck lmao, as for eagle strats it depends on vour character orientation when you throw it (ie: with rocket pods, strafing run, and 500kg the eagle comes from behind to deliver freedom and democracy. and with the other eagle strikes it come in either from left - right or right - left). essentially depending on the eagle strat their is a degree of "aiming" you have to do with it.
I would like to see an XBOX release but I don’t see it happening. Spawns and patrols seem to get silly once you’ve completed the final major objective. Orbital precision strike off there probably due to orbital scatter operation modifier.
no clue where the persistent "the 500KG is the biggest/strongest boom" is coming from, if is was "the biggest" you wouldn't get to use 2 of them in a row on a lower cooldown for 2 broadly comparable to a single precision-strike. the "boom" aspect is only 20% higher than the precision-strikes 1000 damage (a travesty imo, precision should hit for more given the longer overall cooldown) while the eagle-strike can land 7 bombs (1 level of pen lower) that do 800 each and the cluster 64 sub-munitions 2 pen lower for 350 each (which is why it CAN take out tanks/hulks/chargers but only though volume of AoE applied to their backs/weak-spots,. med1 cluster AoE). Meanwhile the orbital gas(1500/750 over 15sec 69cd) and airburst(48 350dmg shrapnel items that's less than ONE eagle-cluster on a 90 second cooldown per-use) remain "enemy softeners" versus the eagles and summon-weapons generally just removing the threats entirely, again this despite a 50% premium on the cooldowns (orbitals need a boost, eagle does NOT need a nerf, we strugle enough vs heavy-enemies as-is which is why the devs already trimmed the spawns per-breach/drop/patrol). To put that in further perspective the airburst support weapon/rocket has 25 AoEs of 150 so around 3 shots from that does roughly the same as an orbital-airburst, and that can be refilled on the go via supply/ground-ammo. ok, rabbit-hole time. looking at the numbers the wealking barrage travels 100 meters, so that's only 1 shell every 8-9 meters staggers left and right, no winder the thing leap-frogs p[assed most things being aimed at, the damned BOOM is traveling half the map. barrages in general really should land their entire 3-round "salvo" simultaneously (modern artillery can do that for 6-10 rounds from the same single-barrel before they unpack and move before the rounds land, look up artillery MRSI) and cover maybe half the ground they currently do, artillery should be short-ish duration and MASSIVELY suppressive(LOTS of boom but slow to re-load/prepare and takes some time to land), eagle should be focussed and fast-acting(get in get out), bomber if it's ever introduced should be wide area and relatively even coverage but slow to deploy/re-arm AND have one REALLY BIG BOOM, i'm talking hellbomb/nuclear-fission & Fusion without the need to arm the damned thing via a keypad, not to mention the possibility of local-area cruise-missile/bunker-buster/MASSED-cluster-munitions support from a bomber in the theatre. EDF broadly gets this right, no clue why the HD2 standardisation team are so ass-backwards in terms of weaponry/support items. TBH i'd also like for ALL the orbitals to be able to double-reload (even if it's only the one crew effecting those reloads one gun/weapon at a time). flat 2-uses (3 for the gatling ones) IF you let it recharge long enough, arguments to be made about having that second use ready on initial drop i'd say no, but have an upgrade it make it have half the usual cooldown when you first got to a planet). orbitals are still woeful vs eagles (outside of AA locations) and unlike the map-based AA the orbitals have a MISSION-PERMANENT PLANETARY EFFECT that makes them de-facto MORE useless than usual while already having a ~50) longer cooldown per-shot vs the eagles that are doing the same or more boom more often and on a shorter cooldown (but with a chance of hitting terrain rather than the enemies aimed-at)
I hope if helldivers 2 does come to xbox they make the announcement by having odst drop in to help. They would make a killing if they add odst cosmetics alongside releasing the game on xbox.
I used to be a Bug enjoyer. But now I can’t stand them. And on the bot front; while playing on 7/8s even with a full squad all blasting a base, it’s nigh endless. Kill the base defenders, and then a patrol had popped in, done whatever, but then they sent up a bot drop. Dam. And then there was like 8 dam ships, 3 tanks 1 strider 2 hulks, devastators coming out of rocks it seemed and enough troopers to outnumber us 20 to 1. And before we could escape or fight, another patrol spawned in and made it 5x worse. I went to the bots to escape the swarm tactics, why am I still experiencing the damage swarm
I usually plays a lot bot missions on 7. Sometimes your just overrun. Mass of grunt storming on you while they gut covering fire from rocket devestators and so on. In the back are marching three Hulks on you and you are only flying around while you get constantly hit from gunships. Sometimes it feels a little bit unfair.

500 KG is high explosive, effective against flesh and living targets, I've always assumed this is working as intended because it's so damn effective against bugs and near useless against bots. We just need more weapons that are the inverse, ie effective against bots and less against bugs.

And you are wondering why, they are always getting knocked about like rag dolls. That is just what usually happens to them in a heated combat situation as I have seen for years in the Battlefield franchise. But if they stay on their feet and you are struggling to find cover. Get behind them since they are happy to act as human shields so mission success can be guaranteed/improved.

"orbital scatter" sucks and is a often overlooked map effect. I allways try to look at the passives befor going in a mission.

If you hit a factory strider directly with a 500kg and it fails to do meaningful damage then the 500kg is fucky

500kg doesn't do a lot against smaller targets, which doesn't make sense. I did hear that it has a blast cone going upwards, ignoring the smaller enemies around it.
I think the cone was a brilliant mechanic. It creates more opportunities for strategic thinking. Otherwise it’d be OP.

Not just the bot spawns are insane now. I used to play bugs 7 very casually for 400 hours but since last patch, the spawn rate has been harder than what i remember 9 being like...it feels like the secret 10-11 difficulty. Go play lower difficulty bot/bugs and you will also notice INSANE quantities of patrols. It must be AH testing Helldivers on whether we'd notice...
Precision strike has precisely missed consistently lately, must be working as intended lol. I guess the planetary scatter modifier is at work? But it seems like a lot of scatter.
7:33 this is the exact reason i've taken a step back from helldivers. shits messed up, furry's are raging on the discord and the game's mechanic's are not what they should be.... this games good, but could be better. i hate that our primary weapons are INTENDED to not do alot of dmg. any devastator on the bot side won't be addressed properly. bots are not hard their annoying and it's not about successfully completing missions but being ragdolled to death..... i've had my fill for a while. after over 200 hr's into the game and still enjoy it but it's gotten kinda stale for me. can't seem to get a worth a damn AR it's all shotguns and those really should be used for CQC but i feel the meta is fire shotty make'm all holla is the meta. i should be able to use WHATEVA i want and be confident it can complete the mission. but alas it's not.
The precision strike, if there is the orbital scatter affix on the mission. It won't hit the side of a barn.
I feel like the perceived difficulty with automatons is that they're inherently different from terminids. There are a lot more enemies with ranged weapons. They require more caution and you can't just run away from them easily.

The only thing about bots that i hate is the constant ragdolling,ping- ponging and most of times keeping you doing anything at all until you are dead. And these rockets dont even have to hit you to send you flying to mars.
I would much prefer rockets doing a bit more dmg and i am being at least able to counteract instead of playing airbourne sim 9/10 times a rocket hits near me

after the 380mm / (precision strike got buffed to shoot faster it was just the best - and apparently its the same damage but different AOE blast radius BUT apparently the 500kg does not damage in a wide area only in a tall area
MAYBE with some of these explosions - it could have some fair remaining in the blast area since its so hot that it burns the ground?
or just properly buff the AOE wideness of the blast to do the correct damage in a wide area.
too many times one drops a 500kg and kill like 7 units on screen when there's an army walking towards you.
It would be a good decision to also release it on Xbox I think, as the Xbox demographic plays more shooters than the Playstation one I think. But since Sony planned to make PSN linking mandatory I think this was not the original plan and I doubt Arrowhead has had the time and resources to develop it for Xbox in such short time after Sony dropped that requirement just for this game.. So if it ever happens it will be much later..
About all the other issues with stratagems not doing proper damage and/or not going where aimed etc, I think that has something to do with the networking in this game.. To high latency and/or packetloss in connections between players etc.. One of the reason why I'm still not a fan of peer to peer multiplayer games, but unfortunately that's how most online games work these days.. We can thank the consoles for that I think, as this peer to peer matchmaking nonsense started to gain ground after they went online.. No more picking your own dedicated server to play on from a list, but sessions hosted by players themselves as a listen server connecting thru socalled matchmaking.. Any old PC FPS gamer that played online in the late 90's early 00's knows what I'm talking about I think..

No no, those are the best. The other day we got 3 gunship fabs, and 2 jammers, on Helldiver, with randoms. We did a full map clear and died with the pelican on the ground, but it was one of the funnest missions I’ve done.

Patrols are perfect once a bot drop is called in they send in more and the cooldown between flares has definitely been decreased so once they call in backup it's best to tactically withdraw

What if the 500kg got shrapnel like the eruptor had. Realistically it just needs its splash damage increased but what I think might be happening is its getting a massive damage reduction going through medium and heavy armor
Railcannon has a mind of its own own sometimes. Threw one at two hulks, and it went for a rocket trooper. This happens a lot. Yet sometimes you can just chuck it nowhere near the hulks and it will pick them off. Frustrating.
Hellmire, for whatever reason, is the best place for super credits farming. Average 60 per diff 2 match, up to 100 on a diff 3

It's the open space and dry land. More space means more points of interest and that equates more credits per mission.
Why would a super popular game that's still somewhat new come to a subscription like game pass? It's not even on our playstation game pass.
If you keep up to date on the companion app you can see the resistance going down even if progress isn’t being made. Once we cut off the remaining two planets I wouldn’t be surprised if the resistance goes down a full percent
I did the most part only do helldive ... level 9. Biggest problem I've have is getting swarmed by the gunships. It gets to the point where you can't even move, reload, or even drop in without getting ragged dolled.
I don't think this is a bug, but there is indeed an increase in bot spawns, specifically on the planets that we are trying to take from the M.O.
I had been taking some missions at level 3 lately as a way of farming Super Credits and every time I went to a bot planet, I killed an average of 125 to 150 bots a mission (Going solo). In the latest missions, after clearing out the map more bots start appearing from the outskirts of the map, and I once got stuck in a loop trying to finish an Artillery objective to the point I killed around 350. The entire map was already cleared, so there weren't even supposed to be any new patrols coming at the region.
That said, that doesn't seem like a bug in itself, but a setting of the planets causing high spawn rates, to make the M.O. harder.
Yeah it’s not a spawning issue it’s a skill issue. I remember when 8’s and 9’s had double to quadruple the spawn rates

I love bots and we play on 9 all the time. The thing I notice the most with some people is that they fight for a position when they need to move and try to come back later. Not every fight needs to be won and sometimes retreating will be your best friend. I will say that the gunships are very difficult especially with the roving bands of them. Those missions give the most challenge.
I hope SONY re-allow selling in Steam for 170 countries.

I've rolled around a corner I seen 20 to 30 low teir bots. One or two grenades can take them out but u can easily get smoke if they get the drop on you
The real issue is the character movement, getting stuck on small rocks and nearly every incline, and automatically jumping over fences to your death in water.
Playing co op yesterday on Challenging difficulty, the bot re-spawn rate was worse than a helldive difficulty, which nearly causes rage quitting.

they nerfed or broke the 500 a long time ago. when i first started playing if someone dropped a 500 in a bug breach you could easily get like 30 or more kills. you do that now you get AT most 10 kills and bugs 10 feet away from where the 500 lands don’t even take damage. the blast radius and damage output is messed up somehow. ive seen chargers survive a 500 going off 5 feet away from them.
if my memory is right it was around the time they nerfed the railgun is when the 500 went to $hit.
for those that don’t remember the 500 use to kill you if you was within 20-30 feet of where it landed. now you can be like 10 feet away and it doesn’t even knock you down.
Patrol Bot spawns are a little high, kinda ridiculous when, on level 4, you turn around, and there are a dozen bots staring lasers at you (literally)
Helldive difficulty is fine, you just have to play differently. You can't run straight into a fight, you need to choose your battles and stratigize before entering battle.
I run the 500kg on almost every run. It works much like the precision strike in that it only destroys what it lands on. The area of effect got nerfed some time ago. However it does seem to have a wider area of effect on the small bugs.

Afaik it is a planetary effect that the orbitals are unprecise.
There's absolutely an alignment issue between where your offensive strat markers land and where it's called down. You can see it best with the precision, but it's the same with the gatling barrage, it's aoe is waaaay off centre of where the marker lands. Harder to tell with the eagle strikes, so I'm not sure if it affects them.
its cause the "orbital scatter" modifier for the mission, it makes all the orbitals have larger spread so essentially it makes the OPS suck lmao, as for eagle strats it depends on vour character orientation when you throw it (ie: with rocket pods, strafing run, and 500kg the eagle comes from behind to deliver freedom and democracy. and with the other eagle strikes it come in either from left - right or right - left). essentially depending on the eagle strat their is a degree of "aiming" you have to do with it.
I would like to see an XBOX release but I don’t see it happening. Spawns and patrols seem to get silly once you’ve completed the final major objective. Orbital precision strike off there probably due to orbital scatter operation modifier.
The inaccuracy the precision strike is due to the orbital fluctuations modifier on the planet.

no clue where the persistent "the 500KG is the biggest/strongest boom" is coming from, if is was "the biggest" you wouldn't get to use 2 of them in a row on a lower cooldown for 2 broadly comparable to a single precision-strike. the "boom" aspect is only 20% higher than the precision-strikes 1000 damage (a travesty imo, precision should hit for more given the longer overall cooldown) while the eagle-strike can land 7 bombs (1 level of pen lower) that do 800 each and the cluster 64 sub-munitions 2 pen lower for 350 each (which is why it CAN take out tanks/hulks/chargers but only though volume of AoE applied to their backs/weak-spots,. med1 cluster AoE).
Meanwhile the orbital gas(1500/750 over 15sec 69cd) and airburst(48 350dmg shrapnel items that's less than ONE eagle-cluster on a 90 second cooldown per-use) remain "enemy softeners" versus the eagles and summon-weapons generally just removing the threats entirely, again this despite a 50% premium on the cooldowns (orbitals need a boost, eagle does NOT need a nerf, we strugle enough vs heavy-enemies as-is which is why the devs already trimmed the spawns per-breach/drop/patrol).
To put that in further perspective the airburst support weapon/rocket has 25 AoEs of 150 so around 3 shots from that does roughly the same as an orbital-airburst, and that can be refilled on the go via supply/ground-ammo.
ok, rabbit-hole time.
looking at the numbers the wealking barrage travels 100 meters, so that's only 1 shell every 8-9 meters staggers left and right, no winder the thing leap-frogs p[assed most things being aimed at, the damned BOOM is traveling half the map.
barrages in general really should land their entire 3-round "salvo" simultaneously (modern artillery can do that for 6-10 rounds from the same single-barrel before they unpack and move before the rounds land, look up artillery MRSI) and cover maybe half the ground they currently do, artillery should be short-ish duration and MASSIVELY suppressive(LOTS of boom but slow to re-load/prepare and takes some time to land), eagle should be focussed and fast-acting(get in get out), bomber if it's ever introduced should be wide area and relatively even coverage but slow to deploy/re-arm AND have one REALLY BIG BOOM, i'm talking hellbomb/nuclear-fission & Fusion without the need to arm the damned thing via a keypad, not to mention the possibility of local-area cruise-missile/bunker-buster/MASSED-cluster-munitions support from a bomber in the theatre. EDF broadly gets this right, no clue why the HD2 standardisation team are so ass-backwards in terms of weaponry/support items.
TBH i'd also like for ALL the orbitals to be able to double-reload (even if it's only the one crew effecting those reloads one gun/weapon at a time). flat 2-uses (3 for the gatling ones) IF you let it recharge long enough, arguments to be made about having that second use ready on initial drop i'd say no, but have an upgrade it make it have half the usual cooldown when you first got to a planet). orbitals are still woeful vs eagles (outside of AA locations) and unlike the map-based AA the orbitals have a MISSION-PERMANENT PLANETARY EFFECT that makes them de-facto MORE useless than usual while already having a ~50) longer cooldown per-shot vs the eagles that are doing the same or more boom more often and on a shorter cooldown (but with a chance of hitting terrain rather than the enemies aimed-at)
I hope if helldivers 2 does come to xbox they make the announcement by having odst drop in to help. They would make a killing if they add odst cosmetics alongside releasing the game on xbox.
I used to be a Bug enjoyer. But now I can’t stand them.
And on the bot front; while playing on 7/8s even with a full squad all blasting a base, it’s nigh endless. Kill the base defenders, and then a patrol had popped in, done whatever, but then they sent up a bot drop. Dam. And then there was like 8 dam ships, 3 tanks 1 strider 2 hulks, devastators coming out of rocks it seemed and enough troopers to outnumber us 20 to 1.
And before we could escape or fight, another patrol spawned in and made it 5x worse.
I went to the bots to escape the swarm tactics, why am I still experiencing the damage swarm
I usually plays a lot bot missions on 7. Sometimes your just overrun. Mass of grunt storming on you while they gut covering fire from rocket devestators and so on. In the back are marching three Hulks on you and you are only flying around while you get constantly hit from gunships. Sometimes it feels a little bit unfair.

500 KG is high explosive, effective against flesh and living targets, I've always assumed this is working as intended because it's so damn effective against bugs and near useless against bots. We just need more weapons that are the inverse, ie effective against bots and less against bugs.
There is something janky with the trooper hitboxes. I've seen autocannon shells seem to go right through them. It's weird.

That is just what usually happens to them in a heated combat situation as I have seen for years in the Battlefield franchise. But if they stay on their feet and you are struggling to find cover. Get behind them since they are happy to act as human shields so mission success can be guaranteed/improved.
