    Some things to note:
    - The Ultimate Battle on Very Hard isn't extremely difficult with a few items purchased outside of the Apple Cup. Getting a 300-400% boost to your pairs with the items bought could provide you with an easier time during the whole Rally and be cost effective for the final Ultimate Battle. But of course if you want to prioritize very low items bought, lack good pairs, and/or got unlucky with the boosted roles, you can still do Hard without the Apple Cup for a way to breeze through.

I love how this game mode made me use different combinations of sync pairs than just the same teams I use for CS

Yeah, it forces me to use other roles than Support for tanking, it's fun !

Champion is a great powerup, you are probably forgetting that the Neo Champions also get the Champion theme skill on top of main character/rival. Currently SSA Cynthia, NC Rosa and NC Blue are the best supports I’ve found for Battle Rally and they all satisfy the Champion boost.

Right right. I was thinking pretty exclusively of the base kits/SS Cynthia which are almost always just damage dealing Strikers or basic Techs.
But yeah the Supports and what-not are quite good. Just Field is very lacking with Neo Champion Nate's EX Role as your sole option.

Never thought I'd see a guide uploaded this fast, it was explained pretty well. This mode is so much better than battle villa.

You 100% don’t need Apple Cup on stage 10 very hard difficulty. I was able to clear stage 10 in all 5 runs with just 5x stacks of your initial buff (the +100% stats with at least 1 unit under the type, region, or group condition) without much trouble. Either Apple Cup x1 or initial buff x5 but it makes stages 1-9 a walk in the park and you still get the same stat bonus as Apple Cup just without all the other craziness, which isn’t really necessary anyways lol.
It really isn’t too hard at that point, that’s at least how I’ve been running Battle Rally with only a 400pt investment for the entire thing so far. Of course your box could be a factor in how easy/hard stage 10 is as well.

I mean they both end up costing 500 anyway so why not pick the Apple Cup to get some ludicrously hilarious ramps

Perhaps you were lucky or have a very good roster. Getting Very Hard Palmer at stage 10 requires much more than 5 boosts, especially if you get Field Strike. No way to anticipate that without the scope. Most people wouldn’t have the means to deal with Palmer without Apple Cup, even with 7 boosts. The 5 boosts is a gamble in such a situation, so it entirely depends on the strength of your roster.
Though, in such a situation, it would be cheaper to do the Hard stage, even if it’s Palmer, as it’s much easier and only loses 100-400 points depending on how many role bonuses you have, where 250 is the loss with 3 of the roles. I’m just trying to say that you would have to be pretty lucky to only need 400 points spent while fulfilling all role bonuses.

Thanks so much for the guide! Very helpful!
Mode is fun but nothing is worse than getting the sprint/field role boosts together, even moreso on two of the same round. I only have 6 field/sprint. Full multipliers mean both use all of mine since I swap ever round
Still am wondering though if the apple cup is worth getting? 500 pts is alot and idk if just doing hard move without buying it is more cost effective than very hard with it.

All my run has been without using it. The stat boosts are really good hehe.

Assuming you do both with the same multiplier, you get more points clearing it on Hard without Apple Cup than you do on Very Hard with Apple Cup.

Hard without the Apple Cup is quite a cinch. Far more worthwhile pointwise.

      @@salamencelvx good to know thanks!
Think I'm gonna try it a little on very hard regularly and if it doesn't work which is expected I'll back to hard.
Will be nice to try since my first one is the same Argenta battle we get this month.
