Not that Vinny will see this, but Link's Awakening only makes sense to come after the Oracle games, since the end of the linked game has Link getting on the boat from the beginning of Link's Awakening.
True, however AFAIK Link's Awakening is actually canonically the sequel to LttP because Nintendo doesn't like doing things in ways that actually make sense
The only reason why they changed it is because Zelda didn't know who Link was and I guess it would make more sense to have him gone for a very long time and she simply forgot who he was. I still say the Oracle games happen first and the biggest clue I have to that is Marin from a Link's Awakening has the exact same model as the Oracle games Zelda (minus the crown) and Link confuses Marin with Zelda.
The instruction manual for Link's Awakening says that he gets on the boat(which ends up shipwrecked) after Ganon is turned to ash (which happens at the end of Link to The Past) in order to grow stronger for the next time there's trouble, so I'd say the sequence of events should be relatively straightforward.
