So, they essentially destroyed earth, dundee (and everything they were fighting for) and part of the local space time continium to stop the summoning of an Elder level demon/god from devouring all life in the galaxy (and maybe the universe) then the villain basically throw itself into a worm portal to the next universe followed by the hero to continue their fight in the next reality?

When I first heard them I thought they were just another ridiculous 1980s European power metal band and I loved it. Then I found out it was a parody and loved it even more
It's because it's an affectionate parody of the "heavy mithril" sub-genre of power metal. (Power metal that uses fantasy based lyrics). They basically took all the stuff from heavy mithril and turned it up to 11.

Answering in order: DJ- no telling how many people were on Earth. but no doubt far more than the amount of space ships required to evacuate anyone. Even now - if every military vessel in all the nations navies were space flight capable - we'd probably only be able to save 1/100th of the human population. And that's if we were given a week to prepare, gather resources and get everyone together. THIS all takes place in the course of a battle. Zargothrax is about to read off his incantation to summon the hell beast that will destroy THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE.. there was no time for anything else.. he had to act and act fast. Well. We should not forget about the "Unicorn invasion of Dundee. " Zargothrax over took Dundee by using army of undead unicorns. This is why he also known as "The dark Lord of the Dundee" (And was able to actually access Dwarven caverns under the citadel of Dundee) so only thing changed is Dundee was bad from the start and unicorn invasion didn't happened. And makes chaos wizards... Good? (I don't really know). And why did demon war on Mars happened again? Was that a decoy of some sort. Or was is misunderstanding. Cus' leader of demon army says he will "liberate the multiverse of slavery and fear " Why would a bad guy do such a thing. Hmmm. Dat lore is to thick for me.
@@zizan2071 So Dundee was good initially but after Zargothrax took over it in the first album TFTKOF, it became a frozen wasteland infested with Monsters while Zargothrax pined away in his Citadel until the Forces of Justice handed him his first known defeat. In the second album the War over the Skies of Mars was indeed a gigantic distraction while Zargo sneaked deep beneath the Citadel of Dundee's caverns while no serious force was guarding it. This was confirmed in the plot explanation segments of dialogue in the booklet for Space 1992: ROTCW. To the best of our knowledge the only confirmed person residing on Earth to know of the Kor-Viliath ritual aside from Zargothrax is Ralathor. This last bit is.just speculation though as the Astral Dwarves likely had an idea and, by proxy, Prince Angus XIII himself. The Chaos Wizards believe they will "discover new world's, and conquer galaxies!" So they're selfish bastard who.just want conquest and power. It's Zargothrax who believed his actions would "Liberate the multiverse from slavery and fear!". The dark sorcerer's philosophy being that to end all misery and pain in the multiverse he must kill everything to accomplish this grand feat. An understandable ideal, but built with a mad man's logic of 'tear down the whole building so the only way is up'. This much was confirmed by Christopher Bowes himself on Reddit under his.username u/HyperChrisZ. This is likely the reason he wishes to achieve Apotheosis (mortal attaining Godhood) in the third album, since in the new, comparatively primitive dimension he cannot contact his home world and gain Kor-Viliath's crystal key. Zargo warped Alternate Dundee into his own chaotic image in the time Angus had yet to appear through the wormhole. Dundee is stated to be a beautiful and glorious place before Zargo comes along and ruins everything (again). So yeah Chaos Wizards = Very bad as fuck haha Zargo = Seemingly has an ideal of Peace but has destroyed the lives of potentially billions of people to achieve it through his own grievous insanity.
Gloryhammer's song lyrics sound like an epic level campaign of D&D where the GM got tired of the party's shit, and they started throwing crazier and crazier enemies at them.

I'd like to think when the Astral Dwarves from Aberdeen go into cosmic rage (berserker mode?) that they just simply cease to be when they finish, maybe the cosmic rage finishes with the dwarves going into a small supernova (Not as big as Hoots' neutron star) but still enough to clear out a good chunk of the demon hordes. This sort of stuff keeps me up at night.

With the way the sentence is structured, it sounds like the Dwarven king was launched at light speed directly onto the battle, without a spaceship. Some poor bastard probably was crushed by that.

The Astral Dwarves: Normal dwarves but with blue and purple beards studded with glowing gems. Riding atop semi transparent giant headed goats with giant white eyes; in the goats body can be seen stars and swirling energy. These goats can reach warp speeds and when they exit warp you can hear a resounding BAAAH! The dwarves use these goats to charge into the enemy fleet warships, or the goats can also shoot lasers from their eyes. Ideas like this is why its a bad idea for me to get bored at work.
Id picture the astral dworves as you described them physically but I sense they have massive battle ships that they conquor worlds just to upgrade them into this titanic space fortrices

Several things I'd like to mention about this song......... 1) The Battle over Mars would've gone better for the heroes if Doom Guy had been present 2) The Rage of Astral Dwarves from Aberdeen sounds a separate song title all it's own 3) Does Zargothrax realize if he summons Kor- Viliath, the Elder God will wipe out all life in the universe, including him (Where's the fun in ruling if there's no one to control?) Amazing song! I do wonder one thing. Are we rooting for the right heroes? Throughout the albums it's stated clearly that Zargothrax is the villain, but is he? In this song he states that he wan't to liberate the multiverse from slavery and fear, while Hoots, one of the heroes, destroys Earth. Are we sure we aren't rooting for the right people?
I never understood why the bad guy would sing about liberating the multiverse but the Hootsman clearly destroys Earth because it is the last possible way to prevent this evil god from being released through the portal and annihilate the entire universe.
After reading the story in the lyrics, I do see that now, since Angus and Hoots were the last ones left. Just thought the comment would be an interesting thing to ponder over.

Even now - if every military vessel in all the nations navies were space flight capable - we'd probably only be able to save 1/100th of the human population. Well. We should not forget about the "Unicorn invasion of Dundee. " Zargothrax over took Dundee by using army of undead unicorns. This is why he also known as "The dark Lord of the Dundee" (And was able to actually access Dwarven caverns under the citadel of Dundee) so only thing changed is Dundee was bad from the start and unicorn invasion didn't happened. And makes chaos wizards... Good? (I don't really know). And why did demon war on Mars happened again? Was that a decoy of some sort. Or was is misunderstanding. Cus' leader of demon army says he will "liberate the multiverse of slavery and fear " Why would a bad guy do such a thing. Hmmm. Dat lore is to thick for me.

So Dundee was good initially but after Zargothrax took over it in the first album TFTKOF, it became a frozen wasteland infested with Monsters while Zargothrax pined away in his Citadel until the Forces of Justice handed him his first known defeat.
In the second album the War over the Skies of Mars was indeed a gigantic distraction while Zargo sneaked deep beneath the Citadel of Dundee's caverns while no serious force was guarding it.
This was confirmed in the plot explanation segments of dialogue in the booklet for Space 1992: ROTCW.
To the best of our knowledge the only confirmed person residing on Earth to know of the Kor-Viliath ritual aside from Zargothrax is Ralathor. This last bit is.just speculation though as the Astral Dwarves likely had an idea and, by proxy, Prince Angus XIII himself.
The Chaos Wizards believe they will "discover new world's, and conquer galaxies!" So they're selfish bastard who.just want conquest and power.
It's Zargothrax who believed his actions would "Liberate the multiverse from slavery and fear!". The dark sorcerer's philosophy being that to end all misery and pain in the multiverse he must kill everything to accomplish this grand feat. An understandable ideal, but built with a mad man's logic of 'tear down the whole building so the only way is up'.
This much was confirmed by Christopher Bowes himself on Reddit under his.username u/HyperChrisZ.
This is likely the reason he wishes to achieve Apotheosis (mortal attaining Godhood) in the third album, since in the new, comparatively primitive dimension he cannot contact his home world and gain Kor-Viliath's crystal key.
Zargo warped Alternate Dundee into his own chaotic image in the time Angus had yet to appear through the wormhole. Dundee is stated to be a beautiful and glorious place before Zargo comes along and ruins everything (again).
So yeah Chaos Wizards = Very bad as fuck haha
Zargo = Seemingly has an ideal of Peace but has destroyed the lives of potentially billions of people to achieve it through his own grievous insanity.

I'd like to think when the Astral Dwarves from Aberdeen go into cosmic rage (berserker mode?) that they just simply cease to be when they finish, maybe the cosmic rage finishes with the dwarves going into a small supernova (Not as big as Hoots' neutron star) but still enough to clear out a good chunk of the demon hordes. This sort of stuff keeps me up at night.

The Astral Dwarves: Normal dwarves but with blue and purple beards studded with glowing gems. Riding atop semi transparent giant headed goats with giant white eyes; in the goats body can be seen stars and swirling energy. These goats can reach warp speeds and when they exit warp you can hear a resounding BAAAH! The dwarves use these goats to charge into the enemy fleet warships, or the goats can also shoot lasers from their eyes.

I actually used these guys as inspiration for my latest pathfinder character's personal quest. he's a survivor of Crail that is traveling, searching for glory to honor the fallen and cash to rebuild the town of Crail.
I believe it was Dundee that fell. As the warriors of Crail "Never lost a fight." or at least that's what they proclaim tonight.

1) The Battle over Mars would've gone better for the heroes if Doom Guy had been present
2) The Rage of Astral Dwarves from Aberdeen sounds a separate song title all it's own
3) Does Zargothrax realize if he summons Kor- Viliath, the Elder God will wipe out all life in the universe, including him (Where's the fun in ruling if there's no one to control?) Maybe he's playing by "If I can't have it, no one else can." rules.

I do wonder one thing. Are we rooting for the right heroes? Throughout the albums it's stated clearly that Zargothrax is the villain, but is he? In this song he states that he wan't to liberate the multiverse from slavery and fear, while Hoots, one of the heroes, destroys Earth. Are we sure we aren't rooting for the right people?
I never understood why the bad guy would sing about liberating the multiverse but the Hootsman clearly destroys Earth because it is the last possible way to prevent this evil god from being released through the portal and annihilate the entire universe.
After reading the story in the lyrics, I do see that now, since Angus and Hoots were the last ones left. Just thought the comment would be an interesting thing to ponder over.

I liked the tie-in to Anstruther's Dark Prophecy from the first album. Like the whole story of the first album was pointless because Dundee was going to get destroyed in the future
