I’m a little jealous! I’ve spent my quarantine in a 325sqft studio on the north side of Chicago, and those apartments looked beautiful!
Our last apartment was 430 sq ft for two people so I totally get that!
350 sq ft on Howard Street. Those were the days lol

Hi Caira, you reminded me of my apartment hunting for .. 3 years. And the last apt we found is the one we decided to buy immediately because of the location, the view, the garden...the final price is good compared to the recent market. And that was our BEST financial decision last year. So, I guess you'd go for the 6th or 7th one. The view, the windows, the light.. all seems amazing compared to the price. :)

I also live in Chicago in an apartment with my twin sister and imo the #6 one looks amazing but we got an apartment with a higher view because the view at night is gorgeous

Love these apartments! I’m moving from Texas to Chicago in August and virtual tours are just not the same haha, any advice apartment hunting post grad?
Girl SAME!! I must have looked at 50 virtual tours but it is not the same as going in person.
Take your time and research the area. And figure out what in apartment is most important to you. For me that is windows for my plants, but for someone else they couldn’t care less about light and they just want more sq ft.
You can always negotiate price!! A lot of people don’t know this when searching for apartments in Chicago :)

I actually didn’t use a relator! I booked directly with the buildings I was interested in.

Those huge windows are awesome during the summer but during the snow/rainy crazy foggy days, I feel I would get depressed.
I am a little nervous about that, but in our last place I still loved the contrast of looking out the windows at the bad weather and being in my super cozy space.

Can you find apartment or studios there for 700-1200 and do they do like credit check and stuff like that in most the places in Chicago ?
You could! There wouldn’t be a ton of options but definitely could. If you ever move to the city and need a leasing agent to help you out let me know.

This is at the Ardus and Bush Temple in river north! Feel free to check them out. Prices fluctuate all of the time so it’s best to contact them and find out the current prices.

That’s pretty south, so you could live in south loop but I don’t know it at all, or if you wanted to train in you could live anywhere off of the red line (river north, old town, Lincoln Park, etc) and commute in.

Can you say the general area these are in? Looking to move to Chicago and have been searching for places like 6! Nobody mentions area or budget and it makes it so hard for out of state people like me. 😭
She says they are right down town which typically means River North/ Gold coast area. I think you can see the Hancock through the windows so that's my guess!

Yes river north!! It’s definitely one of the pricier parts of town. The Draper is a similar apartment building up north that looks similar.

These are in river north! I didn’t use a broker, I reached out to Flats online and made an appointment.

You can look at the amount of crime in neighborhoods but I feel like it’s not as scary as people make it seem.

We lived in Chicago and then moved in with family at the beginning of lock down in March. We knew we were moving back to the city though so toured some places to find out new apartment!
