For this kind of applications I use the HaZet 6397 a 600 mm long lever together with the 14 x18 mm inserts from my big torque wrench. No need to break a ratchet ...
Just so everyone realizes something. 2:28 That Pittsburgh took 641nm, which is 472.7ftLbs before it bent. 3:55 the cheap 72tooth ratchet pawls, the anvil gear, and teeth could reach and it appears between this video and the other 1/2 72tooth Pittsburgh pro torture test videos. So what we learned he today is that when it comes to a 1/2” drive ratchet about 10”-18” long. Well ironically the cheap one it’s exactly what you need. But it is the last set you buy.
Yes tools for life, and the next generation will use them as I did with my late father's..
@@6900pilot Yeah no doubt there good tools but keep in mind more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better as Project Farm has proven this over and over again. And I aslo speek from first hand experience as a former technician myself.
@@Modine. I'm speaking from first hand experience with the brand, you said yourself they are so expensive I presume you haven't purchased any hazet products then? I own the 600n series spanners and a torx socket set plus a 905 socket set. All of which are fantastic but that's just my view and I respect yours..
@@6900pilot My first hand experience with Hazet is minimal to say the least but I have had a small hand ratchet (pn 863Q) and a 3/8 drive extension. Twenty plus years ago when I was starting my career and buying tools, the only way to get Hazet tools here in the states was from the Cornwell tool truck and eaven then he had to order them so it took weeks to get anything.
Goodbye freedom units, you had a good run but it's time to rest in peace.
xD
Sk gloves. That's my brand
Picked up that pair of SK gloves at the beginning of the year with the first SK steals and deals ✌️ planning on a SK LP90 ratchet test in the next month
@@ClientGraphics please do it with the koken 3/8 ratchet
the red digital meter is neiko ¿?
When is the milwaukee ratchet 48-22-9050, long handle test
Try this with Stanley- Proto.
Not saying the hazel isnt worth it but your compairing it Pittsburgh that shaft is what half the diameter. You could have taken Pittsburgh ratcheting breaker bar and then be a real test. But that brand seems good but you also gotta give the harbor one credit it held up well 600 plus not bad
I prefer to use penetrant and heat first before I snap of bolt heads.
so, you're comparing a $144.00 ratchet to a $20.00 ratchet? seems reasonable
Please check t sliding bar durability, usa vs germany vs taiwan.
Hazet made in Germany. Snap-on made in Taiwan.
Snap on ratchets are made in Wisconsin, USA.
@@zoticus1 Wrong made in East TN
Hazet is top quality but top price too! 😅
What is the diameter of the handle of the hazet vs the harbor freight? The harbor freight looks much thinner, this is an awful comparison
Awesome
Thanks Mark!
The harbor freight was smaller in length
ผมชอบมากในการรีวิวแบบนี้
now kill a snap off 1/2 drive the same way...
Why not compare the Hazel against snap on or Sk , why compare a 200 dollars ratchet against a 20 dollars one? It doesn’t make sense. Or maybe the 20 dollars ratchet already beats SK and Snap On., then it will be the one to beat
Hazet and Stahlwille.
7:01 I jumped
And 7:01 I fell😂
When is the Koken torture test coming out?
In the next few weeks definitely by the end of the month.
@@ClientGraphics Can't wait! Still trying to figure out if it's worth purchasing one as I recently picked up a Snap On 3/8 inch ratchet which I've been a little disappointed with.
@@zznick660 yes. A brand new 72tooth flex head koken that's 11in. Are for sale on palmac. They are currently 100 dollars in stock. I love my snap on but I will always grab my koken, even the older 36tooth. My snap on is more of a novelty... to say the least
Hazet no1
Amazing German tool.... Hazet is the Snap-On of Germany!
I really don’t see no point in getting the European stuff it’s over priced and when it’s time to get support with these tools things will get extremely tricky
Wera tools
What was that? That was not a comparison at all ; if that is what you were attempting to do? Also, the HF tool did not fail, it saved your butt from injury as it slowly "told" (bent) you to Stop!
We all know that Gedore and Hazet are quality tools, but many, many other manufacturers will do just fine. If you are reaching for a "pipe", you need heat, not more force.
I would encourage you to come up with a different commercial to promote those German tools, rather than placing HF in a poor light ; HF is successful for a reason and they have put many tool manufacturers on notice..... including Snap-on.
TONY ROMO
Hope you read this ummmm
Having your foot up on the bench and trying to pry is really realty bad for you oring
Someone I knew blew an boring and he had to dab himself clean for 5 weeks after the surgery and couldn't push out a poop
Where’s milfy?
Dang some one sold out to hazet tools lol no shame get that money. Just be honest man!
You must have bumped your head. Who in tf thinks a 10 dollar ratchet is good for anywhere near 650 newton meters ?
stupid test. Pittsburgh Pro are very good
So were is the super strong snap-on no no word to be seen USA, Chinese has cheap junk so has the USA but twenty times the price of china 👍🏻Ja guten Deutschland Werkzeug sind günstig ja ja ha ha .
Who the hell is newton and why is he a meter?
Paying $150 for a ratchet when you only need 1000nm one time in your life, not worth it!
Like video from VietNam😀😀
Awesome thanks for watching 👌🏻
NM mean absolutely nothing me. Do both NM and Ft Lbs next time
1000Nm= 737.5621ft-lb
977Nm= 720.5982ft-lb
641.5Nm= 473.1461ft-lb
512Nm= 377.6318ft-lb
Just go to an online converter www.metric-conversions.org/energy-and-power/newton-meters-to-foot-pounds.htm
What a ignorance... If it's Ft/Lbs then everything is fine but if its in metric system then is no no... For me Ft/Lbs means absolutely nothing but having google i can recalculate values from imperial to metric system without complain as long as the values are in numbers not in elephants olympic pools or football fields...
@@Grabarz23 why would you use a system that’s not readily used here? Unless you are a physics major NM means nothing to most people here. And who the heck wants to sit there and convert numbers when watching a video?
@@gmlover82 sorry but video made in English language does not describe which country has right to decide that imperial system should be used...
I from Europe and believe me or not there are plenty of people who are watching this channel from other countries than USA. Majority of the world uses metric system, and if you want have a crowd, you need adjust yourself to the crowd. That's all
@@Grabarz23 then do both. As you can see from my original post.
Nice video. Hazet makes my favorite ratchets. 🧰😎👍
