Thanks for the video, mate. I'm hoping to get the same bike (well almost, the Pro model). Have been checking out the prices for Givi gear verses the outrageously pricey Triumph gear. This is exactly the video I was hoping to see!
Thanks. Also keep in mind that even though Triumph sells Givi cases with their name on it, they ARE different than actual Givi. The plates are only compatible with other TRIUMPH branded Givi cases. That's another reason I didn't buy the Triumph ones. Besides being more expensive, you are also locked into only buying it from them if you want to change cases in the future
Great video..super helpful. I got the Dolomiti 46L one...I ended up getting it in black after a tough time deciding. I'll be putting it on my Rally Pro this week or so hopefully.
Thanks. I wasn't sure which size to get either. This should be good for now for commuting to work and local trips. At least now the mount is on so if I ever want to go bigger just buy it and snap it on. I'm sure in the future I'll end up with a couple different sizes for different purposes. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@Mudslidex1 Yes the Dolomiti 46L will be great for you. I went with that one as I needed a place for my pricey Shoei helmet, plus groceries and stuff. It makes very little to no difference in terms of performance and feeling of the bike, and will be great for moto camping and also can use the plate and large mosko moto soft pages on sides and top for ADV travel and hunting/camping etc. I didni't realize how quick and easy it is to put that on and mounted...so, thanks for the video! I'm adding crash bars (lowers) and quadlock, handguard, grip puppies, tank pads and maybe a power distribution unit under the seat too. So freaking much $$$ LOL but I'm LOVING the bike so much so far. IT's a BEAST and the heated grips, heated seats (both) and all the luxuries are great too.
@@kee7678 Yeah, the bike really is a great platform to configure it however you want. So much you can do with it. I'm extremely happy that I decided to get this bike. Like you, there's so much I want to do with it, but of course... $$$. LOL. But even as it is, it has so many great features! Safe travels!
Thanks. Yeah Triumph has crazy prices and they use Givi with their name on it. What crazier is when I bought the bike I was curious how much to buy from them. The hardware was almost double. And they wanted $300 to install it!!! $300?? Took me 10 minutes. Lol
@@Mudslidex1 I got 15% discount for 30 days from the dealer after I bought the bike, however, I ended up ordering from Amazon for more choices, faster delivery and the same or better pricing (even with the 15% discount)...and some Pyramid Plastics products but also some identical parts from AliExpress.
Thanks. Yes, the parts are listed in the video description section of the page, but here they are as well: Items in this video: ► Givi Trekker 30 Monokey Case - amzn.to/3XJTRdn ► Givi M8A Monokey Plate - amzn.to/3EZwJ2a ► GIVI SR6415 Mounting Bracket for Tiger 900 - amzn.to/3AVyego
Thanks. I wasn't sure about getting black or aluminum, but glad I got the aluminum one. We'll see how it holds up but it looks like it should be waterproof
I already have a Perun Moto rear rack with hole patterns for mounting a Givi top case. What I need are the mushroom buttons, the rubber cushions, and the pyramid latch that come on the Givi rack. Does Givi sell a kit with just those parts?
top case only without showing the givi trekker panniers mounted. This shows how much overhang you have to open the pannier boxes; I want to use the v47 givi top box and also trek givi paniers . I see sides open from the rear only; bummer. but opening from the front makes it easier in case of top box overhang too much.
Nice video! I'm selling my trekker dolomiti 36L side cases, only because I got a new motorcycle that they don't fit on. So if you're interested in having the matching side cases, let me know! I'm not too far from New York.
Yeah, It is not big enough for a helmet for sure and I was aware of that when purchasing. That wasn't really a requirement for me. I just wanted something so I can get rid of the tailbag, and have secure storage for storing things for around town riding and commuting to work. The good thing is now that I have the monokey plate installed, I can always buy one of the cheaper Givi plastic cases such as the 29liter which is narrow but tall and can fit a helmet and swap them as needed. But I usually either take my helmet with me or secure it to the bike. Thanks for watching and commenting! Safe travels.
@@Mudslidex1 have in mind you won't find a small Givi monokey topcase like the 29liters you're mentioning, the smaller one monokey you will find is 40 liters
You then have to buy the mounting kit for your specific bike to mount the m8a to your bike. I had to buy the kit that mounts to my Tiger900. So it is an additional expense
@@freekens9726 Yes that's the one I bought. I purchased it on Amazon, I don't know if you find it anywhere cheaper but this is the one I bought amzn.to/44JygUX

Nice, thanks for the video. Did you happen to list the parts? Hi from Texas... i have the 2023 Tiger 900..

Can it hold a full face helmet?
Not this size box. The bigger ones can.
Did you order the Plate and bracket separately?
Yes. I mean I ordered them both at the same time but they are separate products that need to be ordered separately
Nice looking case, but doesn't look like it would hold a helmet, which I think would be a requirement for me.

Thx for the quick answer. Super.
I have the same bike .well it comes this week.
Must find the kit than . The suppliers dont mention that
Think its the GIVI Topkofferhouder Monolock en Monokey- SR SR6415

It would be very honest and helpful to say right off the bat that the board and the board mounts are two different parts and are sold separately!😢
