Z was only PRETENDING just to avoid getting arrested. Of course he wasn't looking where he was going and he and Bala fell that garbage tunnel and out of the colony. Of course the rest of the colony thought Z really tried to kidnapped her. Z wouldnt really kidnapped an ant he loves.
@@benivinson3693 Not to mention Z was probably gonna be arrested or killed anyway ( in secret) because Mandible was angry that he survived the Termite war and was herefore he was foiling his plans to get rid of the loyal and weakest members of the colony.

This is one of my most favorite Dreamworks films along with Shrek and Madagascar
Z is a funny character but I think the appealing characters are Weaver and General mandible and Cutter and Bala and also the background(Foreman ant but his real name is George but never mentioned in the film)
